Hang in there buddy it will get better. KEEP THE FAITH! Lost my Vol fan dad in 87 to brain cancer, my mom Vol fan in 2007 to breast cancer my brother , best friend and Vol fan a little over a year ago, stroke. I always ask God and continue for strength to deal with the losses or anything and know he will. I also know your dad would not want you down on earth suffering for him. Pay your respects and keep him in your heart and believe me he will be with you at those Vol games. I recall when my brother passed, my neighbors came by to tell me they were sorry, They had lost a son s few years back. Respectfully none of my losses are even close to the loss of a child and I pray that never happens, nor my wife for that fact.

I don't believe anything but time will ease your pain. I will offer up prayers for you and your family. I hope through all the pain, you will have moments of joy to lift up your spirits and give some temporary relief from the grief. I wish the best for you.

Sorry for your loss. Don't be afraid to cry ... even years later. Dad's worth shedding tears for. I still cry / mourn, 15 years ago this month.

Praying for you.

Prayers to you are your family. A day doesn't go by when I don't remember something my dad said or something that we did together and that was 19 years ago.

Thanks for the kind words and prayers everyone. I know that there is nothing that anyone can do. I can't tell you how much it means to me to come on here and connect. There is a sense of belonging and not feeling alone in my sadness. It feels like there are others with me. That is comforting. thanks
