We assume that they are technologically advanced because they spend their days with their noses in their phones but they’re by and large just users who don’t understand computer science any more than older generations, perhaps less so. What they do learn in school is how to identify things that might hurt someone’s feelings. It’s all they know how to do, so they do it.

so so much i would like to add to this, I will say I am not a fan and saw a problem years ago when my(and others) kids accomplishments were watered down with this all inclusive, participation trophy, culture. Cancel culture is the evolution of that I believe and it will get worse I'm afraid.
