Rest In Peace

Well I think you’ve been around enough to know where W TN ranks in importance. RIP, tires.

I go crazy driving the right lanes on 40 between Arlington and Canada Rd exits. Bump, bump, bump, bump......like I was back in Illinois with their ****ty roads.

I live right off of Canada Road (ha ha, I know what you are saying). If I have to go to Arlington, I'll just take Hwy 70.

It’s stupid to think that Pepe.....or Slice for that matter .....is in any way concerned about the cancel stupidity
I can say it cuz my kids don’t think like that but wtf did these people do to their kids to make them all, excuse me ladies, a bunch of pU&&))s. There are real problems with this world but Pepe and cat and the hat aren’t one

Saw it coming when Elmer Fudd's gun started getting edited out of older cartoons. Now Pepe represents rape culture, and Speedy Gonzalez is somehow a negative Mexican stereotype. The world has lost it's mind.

Wouldn't it be great to live in a society where a bogeyman wasn't lurking around every corner in the form of someone just waiting to get outraged over something so stupid?

It has become a vehicle for receiving attention and approval through social media outlets preferred by a lot of younger people. Most kids now don’t learn squat in school. We assume that they are technologically advanced because they spend their days with their noses in their phones but they’re by and large just users who don’t understand computer science any more than older generations, perhaps less so. What they do learn in school is how to identify things that might hurt someone’s feelings. It’s all they know how to do, so they do it.

I've never agreed with you more, especially the first sentence. That and no one wanting to take responsibility, it's easier to blame someone or something and get rid of it.

so so much i would like to add to this, I will say I am not a fan and saw a problem years ago when my(and others) kids accomplishments were watered down with this all inclusive, participation trophy, culture. Cancel culture is the evolution of that I believe and it will get worse I'm afraid.

I was joking in the PF that Marvin the Martian will be next for being in blackface.

Sitting by your "boom box", or whatever you called it, waiting on that song to come on the radio so you could record it.

Buying the cassette album and tearing into it to get to the j-card, reading the lyrics to every song your first time listening to every track.

Making a copy of your favorite songs to give to your best friend.
