One of the first country-rock crossover bands. They were awesome. And Young was one of the finest steel players ever.

Former Bay City Rollers front man, Les McKeown has died. He was 65 years old. The former Saxons changed their name to the Bay City Rollers by throwing a dart at a map of the US which struck home near Bay City, Michigan. Les joined the band in 1973 and sang lead vocals on their US hits.
