April’s edition of Parachutist informed of Jerry Bourquin’s passing. Jerry was one of the originals, a member of the Strategic Army Corps Parachute Team, a forerunner of the Golden Knights. Jerry won the National Style Championship in 1962. He was active into his 80s, a JOE (jumpers over eighty). A International Skydiving Hall of Fame inductee, he died January 21, 2021. Fair skies and favorable winds, forever, Jerry.

I learned of that back when I was doing the "Goodnight" thing every night. I did one for Kim Darby/Mattie Ross and happened to see her and Crawford were an item. I thought it was too cool. True Grit, the original, is an all time favorite of mine.
