Thanks for taking it well! After I posted, I had a sudden “what were you thinking” moment. But it does seem to be one of those occurrences in life where the reaction could go either way…

It’s all good. I was kind of sad when it happened, but the hamster was like 2 1/2 years old and I think their lifespan is 2-3 years

RIP to our hamster Graham Cracker. Got out of her cage and got underneath the fridge. I think I killed her when I pulled out the fridge to get her.

You are right, I had hamsters going up and even in my young 20's and they only lived around 2 years or so

I just heard the news of Dusty Hill's passing on the radio. Sad sad sad. HBPW and I saw them a few years ago at the Tennessee. They definitely rocked the joint! RIP Dusty
