Rest In Peace

Rest in peace, Bobbe "Beegie" Long Adair. The Nashville music scene is soto voce for your absence.

RIP Kathryn Kates. She was a guest performer on numerous TV shows and a supporting character actress in movies for the past 40 years. Here's a picture from her performance in The Many Saints of Newark, one of her last.

I lost a friend for 42 years to a stroke last night. I was just informed. Bob was from Wisconsin. He lived two lives, before and after an automobile accident that left him in a coma for weeks. He was a different person when he came out of the coma. I befriended him anew. It was as if we became friends twice. Before Bob would revisit the same argument with you repeatedly. It was as if he were chewing cud. After Bob was a gentler soul who wished to be resolved of any conflict, laying aside disagreements once they’d been explored. Into the great unknown, Bob. We will all follow in our own time. Peace be upon you.
