If the end of the show doesn't involve aliens, I'll be surprised. Why do batteries suddenly not work? It makes no sense. But they work in the presence of that weird necklace. So confused

finally unloaded episode 1 from the DVR last night. It was "meh" at best. It's probably not a good thing when the lead character (Charlie) already annoys me.

I would still unleash sex upon her.

I didn't notice how bad her acting was until this scene:

At that point, I couldn't quit noticing.

Like some others, I think the story premise alone is stupid. No electricity? It all just shuts down? Gas powered engines sudden fail to work? All just sounds dumb.

Almost watched the first episode to see how they explain that but haven't really gotten around to it. Probably never will.

ps. In that show, would my potato clock still work or would that be shut off, too?

I won't ever watch the show but the premise sounds like a pretty decent episode of Doctor Who.

Here's one reason

Summer Glau

Firefly was great. The action was a bit cheesy at times, but the show didn't take itself too seriously. It was more about the cast and interactions for me. The cast/acting couldn't have been better. And their interaction and dialogue was funny as heck. A well written show.

If they every do make an Uncharted movie which I've heard about, Nathan Fillion should get cast as Drake. He looks like him, his character in Firefly has the same personality and mannerism, humor, and would be a natural fit for it.

I found the 1st episode to be ok, the 2nd just didn't do much for me. My question is "If all the power quits and the cause the planes to fall, Why are the wing lights still on on the falling planes?"

Watched episode 2. Downgraded from "meh" to "ugh"

Alcatraz was better. And that's not saying much.

Agreed on all counts. That second episode got more and more stupid as it progressed. That said, the very end and the previews from next week introduced a couple of plot twists that MIGHT entice me to watch the next episode. Even if I do, if episode 3 doesn't improve dramatically, I'm out.

I like post apocalyptic movies/shows. But bad acting, bad fight scenes, bad story line equals bad show for me. The necklace makes no.sense, hell everything electric stopping makes no sense, and I'm pretty sure I could beat up the "bad ass" hero. NBC keeps knocking them out of the park!

Probably not a good sign that I'm only 15 minutes in and already thinking about cutting it off.

The opening scene was awesome but skipping forward 15 years was a major turnoff.

Like the scene on the airplane. They really didn't trade lookout shifts? How did these people survive 15 years?

Yeah the show is pretty much a mess from top to bottom. Dont shut it off yet, you'll miss a horrible fight scene!

Opening scene was pretty intense... But how do planes stop and fall straight down?

Little things like this ruin shows/movies for me.

this.

I stopped watching after this. Not watching a show that insults the viewer's intelligence in such ways.

Cheesey as hell.

It's a bummer, because this show looked like it had potential.

Don't get me wrong. It was mediocre at best but if that was all it took then it sounds like you were just looking for a reason to not like it.

Well it was a little better tonight, bought itself one more week for me. The acting is still horrible, the main girl is absolutely painful to watch. She has to be related to somebody at NBC.

Acting is bad. Storyline is ok but not great. Its on a short leash. Watch last resort.....great storyline and good acting through one episode.

I had high hopes for revolution, it has pretty much failed. I watched last resort, last week. It definitely has my interest.
