Well been watching the new episodes. While it seems to be getting more interesting, it also seems like they are rushing to an ending. I get the distinct feeling that this won't see a 3rd season.

The ratings seem to be staying around the high 4/low 5 range. Sadly I think that's actually not bad for NBC but still pretty much terrible for the other 3 big networks, and it's now down to less than half the audience it had when it debuted last season.

The question would be how high are production costs; I imagine the ratings right now don't justify the costs.

So, at first, I thought it was nothing. Now, I'm positive that there's a ton of Stephen King references.

The Tower is where they all go for in the first season.
Miles gives a fake name, that name? Stuart Redman
Episode in this season? Captain Trips.

That's just the ones I've been noticing, I'm sure I've missed some because I wasn't paying attention early on.

Hopefully they don't finish this now before this obvious payoff comes.


Also, totally calling it now. Charlie makes Sebastian's son fall for her, then kills him.

Yeah, one or more people on the writing team is a King fan.

Why would Charlie do that?

What would be the point in making him fall in love before killing him?

Far worse for him emotions wise, especially if she makes their parents think its real before doing it.

When the bad guys from the first season started teaming up with the good guys it got ridiculous. When the nano's suddenly became corporial and are now wanting to be human it's gotten even more ridiculous. The writers seem to have no real direction and very little progress is made each episode.

That said I'll watch it till it dies.

Truth be told, what kind of show do you really have when you start it out with there being no power? How far can you go with it?

Well The Walking Dead has done pretty well. There are plenty of possibilities, its all in the writing. They just haven't taken it in the proper direction, honestly it just kind of goes in a circle.

It's turned into comedy for me and my wife.

I think it would probably be better on a cable network; I think AMC or FX would have given it a much better treatment. It's a tad sad too because I actually think the premise is interesting, but they just totally kill it with the cheese and the very bad acting.

This is one of the few shows (maybe only) that i liked better with simplicity
The time slot doesn't help me either
I have only half followed this season after being completely caught up in the 1st season

When it first came out i was really excited, i love apocalyptic type stuff. Then as you stated the acting happened, all bad some terrible. I've seen the guys that play Monroe and Tom in other stuff and they were not this bad.

Fyp. :) The nano stuff is just full tard, makes me think of a Syfy movie storyline. Which may explain why i still watch. Lol

I bet Jason comes back btw, everyone always does on this show.

What's funny is Billy Burke(Miles) was (other than Michael Sheen) the only GOOD performance in the Twilight movies. He was actually good as Bella's father. But in this he's acting as bad as the rest of the Twilight cast.

And yeah Giancarlo Esposito (Tom) was outstanding as Gus in Breaking Bad. Here he's just...blah. In fact many of the actors I don't think are bad. I completely blame the writing, they have to spit out some of the worst dialogue I've seen, and whoever is directing them has them acting in the cheesiest, direct to DVD way.

I didn't even finish last week's episode. I think I'll wait and watch it on Netflix when this season is put on. I can take entertaining cheesy, but when it becomes boring cheesy, I'm out.

Well the series is over, just watch the finale tonight. I have to say it ended well, predictable, but well. Until you get to the last 60 sec of the show then it just goes WTF!! I have to wonder if they were trolling to maybe get bought up by another network like Sci-Fi or something.
