How do you see the numbers working out in this coming class assuming we sign 24-27?

I think we take that many for sure and that would only give us 24. I don't think we will take another FB this year and I'm not sure we will take a K/P unles Palardy can't be the punter too. But who knows. We would still have a few open spots with my numbers.

We have to get DTs, OL, LBs, a true freshmen TE, and a couple of true CBs.

im not a guru by any means, but id say if we can land a top receiver, we will only take 1-2 WRs... also i only see us taking 2-3 DEs unless one is big enough to play DT as well.

I like this idea.

Use vader's numbers and use the extra spots for JUCO DTs and OLs that will start immediately.

Well, we may see more us take more hybrid DE/DT type because of multiple defenses. As far as WRs go, Meline may not end up at WR, Rogers may not qualify, Teague may move to DB, and we lose Jones and Moore. We may look to land a more rounded type WR like an Ambles since we didn't land one in this class. We may also look to land a smaller jitterbug type WR.

I think Maclain is a OL all the way. He's gotten bigger every year in HS. I wouldn't be surprised if he is 270-275 by the time he gets on campus. Dude is a monster.

i believe rogers will qualify. will they move both teague and meline to DB? i figured just one? and if we land jabriel washington, im sure he would get some looks in the slot as our "smaller jitterbug" type.

I don't know that Maclain is a Douglas clone, mainly because he'll come in 15 lbs or more bigger than Douglas came in.

As far as Washington, if we land him, I think that he ends up at DB. And I don't think that Teague and Meline both go to DB. Maybe one.

I live about 30 miles from were Washington plays. This kid is for real he`s the type that always gives us trouble. You get maybe one clean shot a game. After that it`s grabbing shirt tails shoe laces or clean misses and he`s gone.

Absolutely. You win championships with OL/DL play. I would like for them to rack up this year on the OL/DL, then level it out and have certain number they decide on to meet each year at each position.

Yeah u do, i think we need to get some real DT's this year, not any of these guys u have to put weight on... Imo they never translate when they gain weight...

5 OL a year once the numbers level out. 5 DL a year also. Legit line play will drag the rest of the team along. Does anyone think you take maybe one guy a year that is an instate diehard UT fan but a 3 star? Cody Robinson maybe?
