Rich? Convicted of Pesky Felonies? No Problem! Trump Will Pardon You.

I may be wrong, but I think a pardon removes all legal effects of the conviction, as if you had never been convicted at all. It's not just a get out of jail early card.
You graduated from a Top 5 Law School, you really should know the answer!

You do realize that Trump can pardon every single person he feels like before or after they are convicted of a federal offense right? In fact he could pull a democrat move and just pardon felons in California if he wants.

The one thing in common with this group that I see so far is reducing or erasing sentences for fellow con men and fraudsters. Perhaps setting a bar for Stone. Or himself.

My standards are higher. I'm not willing to kill the entire US economy 'cause I hate the President. I care about jobs, savings, retirement plans. It's not worth going to socialism
I’m not worried about republican delusions of “socialism.” I’ll take the risk of higher taxes (if they even get passed) if it means we get an adult in the White House for four years.

Pretty positive that is the meaning of a pardon. However, that is only as good as someone's memory of you. So, you won't necessarily regain favor with everyone.

This ought to be good. Which one of ya'lls cat birds to vote for is the adult?

You do know the vast majority of lawyers don't do criminal law, right? And those who do criminal law rarely have reason to look up the legal effects of a presidential pardon since probably .0001% of those convicted get a pardon.

A bold move to drain the swamp.
What enacting the social justice reform a majority of the nation is clamoring for?

As has been pointed out people are cherry picking the worse cases and ignoring the others.

I dont see why a president has a pardon but it has ALWAYS been used as a political tool in election years.

Trump won by antagonizing and screaming against Democrats. What do you expect?
The other half of the nation feels the exact same about Obama.

As with all things, things are never as bad nor as good as they seem.
