yeah you remember the only reason of going to fsu was to play for jeremy pruitt's coached defense.. that's why you should always go for the school and not the coach.. yeah i am very happy.. he is an awesome recruiter and he can coach the xs and os.. he is bringing in his coaches so that will be interesting as well.

What coaches is he bringing? Only opening is secondary, and my friends close to UGA program say that will be Derrick Ansley.

he might bring in 2 more guys.. KO may move to a different capacity without our athletic department and coach wilson has been interviewing for other jobs. pruitt will assist in coaching the secondary and he could bring ansley in as well.

Thanks Vol fan. I had forgotten about the Nathan Peterman experience.

You're like the fat kid laughing at the stupid kid..............and keep thinking if we had anyone playing qb on our roster that the outcome would be any different.

Im sure he'll find a place for Sal. Ansley? Not many DC really coach a position. Too much time goes into game planning. Pruitt could coach cb and Ansley S.

CMR isn't going anywhere anytime soon.. heard he wanted to wait til at the very least his daughter graduates college which is another 4 years i believe. he is still very energized and as competitive as ever heading into this offseason. this hire is going to energize everyone..

It absolutely would have. If Worley starts that game (as awful as Florida was), we win that game. Even the most negative of Vol fans - or even a FLA fan - can see that.

That's awesome! 4 more years of GA not living up to expectations!

Yeah, Worleys 32.5 QBR screams that we would have won if he had played the entire game. Our defense was getting beat like a drum as well. Point is, when your team gets beat by a certain other team, you have absolutely no room to flap your gums. But go ahead and keep looking silly.

Word is they offered Kirby Smart $1.6 million and the chance to bring his entire staff. I was hoping he would take it...I don't buy his hype. He wanted the HCIW title and that's when they got Pruitt. Sadly I think it's a home run hire for them...and they actually are paying him $25k less than Grantham was making. Butch's job just got a bit tougher I am afraid.

What has Pruitt done in one season at FSU to deserve this much respect? They won the NC this season because of Winston and the offense. The FSU defense was completely gassed and dismantled in the 4th quarter by Auburn.

just to name a few:

Top ranked D. # 1 scoring d and pass d and 2nd in TO or int. Even as a Gator the guy did his job as DC.

Grantham's D in his second year at UGA was 4th in the nation. How did he get that much worse? I guarantee you Pruitt will not have the same success in his first year at UGA as he had at FSU? UGA doesn't have nearly the talent on D that FSU has.

There will be an instant improvement after the way last year went. I really liked Grantham and think he is a good coach but something was obviously wrong last year.

That was against ACC competition not SEC. I'm not impressed. When he does it in the SEC, I will be impressed.

Its not that hard to coach when you have the best talent in a weak conference. He is not that great. That fsu defense was loaded.
