Sounds about right. You know how fans get when they feel jilted by a coach (a la UT with Tee when he decided to stay at USC). Anyway, what do u think about the HCIW theory? I can definately see DC for 4-5 years and then taking over HC.

No coach is off limits. Thig may not go anywhere but the money ga throwing around, ut may have to up the $$$.

I don't doubt we will have to up the $$$ that Thig is getting. But this is not Vandy, I don't like Ga fans coming in here acting like they can just poach coaches from us like they are better than us.

yep no coach is off limits.. it's something every sec fan should know. it will be interesting to see who jeremy pruitt targets.. he has a lot of guys he knows in the business. i just wanted to know what vol fans knew about thigpen as a position coach..we all know he is a great recruiter.. i also wonder how good of a position coach lance thompson is.

it will be interesting as i mentioned who jeremy pruitt targets.. he might wait a few more days til the fsu dc job is situated. they will have some guys passed over who are interested in leaving. it would be nice to see another fsu meltdown.. lol

Where do his connections come from? He's been on two staffs for a total of 4 yrs; 3 in the state he's spent his whole life. Pruitt may be a great DC, but I think the jury's still out simply due to experience and near perfect circumstances he inherited at FSU. Thig comes off as a pretty loyal guy to me. Don't see the benefit in making a lateral move. Not that Richt's seat is too hot but there's no denying Butch's job is in far less jeopardy at this juncture.
