He has coached 33 seasons, and averaged 22 wins a year……almost 23 (22.72).

Not too many “average” coaches do that.

Bob Knight averaged almost 21
Jim Boeheim is at 22
Bob Huggins is at 22
Rick Pitino 21
Jay Wright 22

He certainly isn’t the greatest coach…….however he is FAR from an “average” coach.

Heck will Wade is at 22.7 over 8 years not 30+ and we know that guy cheats.

Yes, Calipari and Coach K. Despite the talent recruited because of their blue-blood status, their national championships are way below what they should be based on talent.

Chris Beard is 18-17 in the B12 over the last 2 seasons. Mark Adams was his “defensive coordinator” and didn’t follow him to Tx.

How much are #s 6-10 making?

Barnes didn’t miss 8,000,000 open shots. Simple truth is if that if the team wouldn’t have shot 2% from 3, they would have won going away.

Ok I’ll give you he’s “ above average “ during regular season but below average in post season

Good Lord....we're six games in. This team has no identity just yet. That's my major takeaway so far. They had a horrible shooting night, defense was great, Chandler got in foul trouble. I think it's time for a starting front court of Olivier, BHH, and JJJ, I love Fulky but this team would be better off and more physical with the freshman in there.

Times have changed no coach is guaranteed a great season every year thanks to the one and done crap

An average coach is Buzz Peterson. Barnes took a team of nobodies and turned them into one of the best SEC teams. He's a solid coach who just obliterated UNC a few weeks ago. It's December so calm down

Barnes is a good coach not a great coach. He will never get us past the second round of the tournament. He’s not a good game coach. We jacked up 3’s and died by the 3’s last night due to coaching. It’s getting old no doubt.
