So, how do you reconcile being so antagonistic to a coach and his program which has had us within 1 game of an E8 twice in the last 5 years? Especially when we both know there is a reason why the NCAA is single elimination vs. the NBA's multi-game series.

Duke was 73-71 prior to MK. Basketball schools aren’t born they are created. You get a top AD and invest in the school and expect greatness. Indiana was THE basketball school under Knight and now they are nothing. You hire the right coach and everything else falls into place.….and Duke was absolutely positive K was the guy…. From the person who thought KD was responsible for Barnes F4, we have a brand new hit. This one, is “one of the best coaches in the country leaves a bigger basketball school than UT to come coach UT.” I’m in awe of your wisdom.

SEC regular season championship has always been more valuable than the SECT championship imo. It’s more impressive going through the 18 game grind throughout the season rather than getting hot and winning a few games at the end of the season. Since the start of the 2017 season, Rick Barnes has won 72% of his games overall and 67% of his conference games. The only other Tennessee coaches post-1950 that can claim similar winning percentages are Bruce Pearl, Jerry Green, and Ray Mears. And Jerry Green was only here 4 seasons so it’s really only Barnes, Pearl, and Mears that have been elite coaches in our modern basketball history. Idk where some of these “fans” get the idea we can just go out get whoever we want and act like we are some blue blood in basketball. Barnes has been one of the best we’ve ever had and I wish people would appreciate the success and he has brought to Tennessee. We are going to miss him tremendously whenever he is gone.

From what I can tell, 90 percent of the bumps/posts are people that are pro-Barnes making fun of people that aren't.

First time I’ve checked this thread in months due to all the worthless comments from some folks that try to denigrate a Hall of Fame coach that we are blessed to have. Now I remember why I stopped checking it. These morons continue to not be worth my time.
