Every other program in the country would be like “we got this no big deal” but us Vol fans know better when it comes to this god forsaken tourney.

Exactly. I was burned last time, honestly thought we'd woop Auburn a couple years ago for revenge from the spanking they gave us in the regular season. But...we just let them woop us again so they ended up running out regular season title and our tourney title. It was absurd. But Auburn was a much better team than this A&M team is. This should be as close as a lay up you can possibly get in a tourney final game. But yet I am holding my breath

Even if UT loses tomorrow, we're at worst a 3 seed with an outside shot at a 2. 25 wins. Two wins over UK. Have repeatedly proven that we can play with anyone in the country and quite possibly beat them. No Q1 losses. A balanced and deep roster. And yet somehow Barnes can't coach.

I agree we have a great opportunity in front of us, but losing to A&M with how well they've been playing certainly wouldn't be embarrassing. That isn't to say we shouldn't beat them because we probably should, but calling a loss to them embarrassing is just silly.

A portion of our fanbase brings a football mindset to basketball. A loss to a team that isn't ranked inside the top 20 automatically qualifies as embarrassing to them. Never mind that A&M is a 23 win team which beat Auburn on Friday and absolutely clobbered Arkansas today. I'll also throw in that Buzz Williams is a fantastic coach.

We'll just have to agree to disagree. A&M isn't some juggernaut by any means, but I viewed them as sneaky good for most of the season. With how they've played in this tournament, they're not so sneaky anymore.

They don’t stink. You do not roll off what they’ve done if you’re a bad team. They went through a lag in the middle of the season but still put up 80pts on us in Knoxville. Our defense is one of the best in the country and to score 80 on us is not something many teams have been able to do.
