I don't agree with him much, but certainly have on occasion. He sometimes makes a good point when he want to.

If you are the same VolGirl I know, you and I both go WAY back, and you were one of my favorites back in the day.

Pat is gone. There will never be another like her. WBB has a much more competitive landscape now in large part because of Pat. If your standard of success for Kellie is what Pat did you will never be happy. Even now UConn is not, nor IMO will they be again, a dominant program.
If you want to show respect to Pat perhaps you should show just a little patience with a LVFL as she works to mold a lot of new talent into a team.
Also regarding Darth, I feel very confident he is a Vandy fan trolling us or just a really miserable human.

I had the same problem when I came back to the Summitt and here. My old email no longer exists, so I couldn't use my old name from the old gridscape/early Summitt days. I can no longer remember what it was even, but I was one of the most active posters and shared quite a lot of recruiting info back then.

I am a firm believer of fresh starts and 2nd chances. You see a lot of kids who have issues at one program but leave to thrive at another.

But Rickea had gotten in trouble with the 3 previous coaches who coached her (Vic, McCray, and the interim before she hit the portal). This is all unfortunate sadly. Harper deserves a lot of criticism but I do commend her for putting her foot down if something did actually happen. I was proud of the girls yesterday even with the loss, Key played her better game this season.

Moral victories do not count, I agree with that. I am hoping the signs of life I saw yesterday and continue moving forward.

One game not fair change. with jackson ucla won easly. Had change to tie va tect. I for one liked va tect better than ucla . In horseshoes va tect game was cose to ringer. ucla game watchout by standers wild horseshoe. When doctor oks them we can make ncaa without jackson. sec gets 5 to 8 teams in finish . tenn shold finish 3-5 place. no player bigger than team workout jackson plays team ball fine. if not i for one would will watch to see others players do the rest of the year.

If any of them can make a field goal I will get excited until then were not near as great offensively and will need some of them to do something, anything that scores points.

If players got in a fight hollie lost control of team. iF jackson not playing team ball . Play the rest of team and see what happens.

Marta score and did see where she cleared a path for horston layup. In football quarters or runing backs ddo not score without lineman. lineman are not on the feild for the view. Some on here only like 20 plus players. You players to do things that do not show up in stat sheets

She scored six points on 10 shot attempts and had four turnovers. I'd rather Puckett play 33 minutes think she would've scored a lot more than six.

I kinda agree! Marta is such a mixed bag because she plays hard but completely out of control. I don’t see why Puckett or even Pissott couldn’t have gotten any minutes at her spot. Although Puckett is definitely experiencing the good ole sophomore slump, I don’t think we’d have that turnover problem that we have with Marta. I cringe whenever she starts dribbling the ball and I hate that feeling.

Sarah is willing to pass the ball that is enough for me for her to play over Marta. If Marta would get in there and do what she is supposed to do and quit trying to be a guard she might be the better option. Right now her individual play is making her not the best choice.

Sara should have got more mins. Both marta and sara can help vols win. Marta had bad foot most of her freshmen year and made all sec freshman on half year playing time. Both players have not had much playing time.

Looks like they get to play some more. Both will be needed tomorrow can't keep losing somebody has to step up and help Horston and Key more than they did yesterday.

Exactly! Marta, as we seen yesterday, was mostly effective in the post! She has a semi good handle and great passing skills, but she has to know her limitations and she doesn’t right now! Kellie has to let Puckett play through her mistakes like she’s letting Marta.

Your bona fides are well established and no one could ever question your devotion and support for this LV program. I also believe, as you do, that Coach Summitt was an absolute treasure and, maybe for the Vols, a once in a lifetime coach. I hope not, but maybe.

I do think, however, that you are incorrect about your belief that there will "never be another like her." There are multiple coaches on the national scene who are outstanding and, in their own ways, have become just as impressive as our school's legendary leader. At least in my view, she formed the foundation every one of them has benefitted from. Beginning with Geno and going on to Dawn Staley, Muffet McGraw, Tara VanDerveer, Kim Mulkey, and many other top coaches, there are multiple folks who are coaching with the technical abilities of Coach Summitt and, as the game is evolving, they are adding their own contributions to the greater growth of the sport. But Coach Summitt's successors to great women's basketball coaching have not been and are not now here. They could have been, but instead they are in Storrs, South Bend, Columbia and other places.

IMO, it is not disrespectful to our legendary coach that valid criticism is leveled against Lady Vol coaches when they exhibit basic coaching and recruiting deficits. Being a former Lady Vol should not provide a magic cloak of invisibility when obvious problems appear. And folks on this site are not "Negas" when they express criticism or frustration with the slide of the team from where it was to where it is. Coach Harper is a 20 year coach who seems at times lost in recruiting and confused about in-game coaching. How long should fans remain patient? I don't have the answer, but it has been a long while now and things are not going in a good direction. Am I wrong?

While your undying support for the program is entirely admirable, not all who want more from our LV coaches than we have had in recent years are trolls.

I JUST DON"T KNOW!! Is Tennessee EVER going to be Top 5 in WCBB again? Apathy is the next harbinger. However, as the other poster said, Danny White WILL do what is necessary.

Will know a lot more after the season ends and we see what this team has done. From what they do this season which could still be little or a lot evaluation will certainly be made. If you see no extension and raise this means you have a year to make a difference. If we see an extension and raise will mean we like what you did and here is your reward. Danny White is a great AD I have total trust in him. I just keep supporting Coach Harper. I want her to be successful. On the other hand I will trust whatever AD White decides cause everything he has done thus far shows she knows what he is doing.
So the ones that want to keep talking about firing no problem. I want to keep believing until I don't have a reason to believe anymore.
