Rickea Jackson Minutes

If players got in a fight hollie lost control of team. iF jackson not playing team ball . Play the rest of team and see what happens.
I believe Jordan H is this team's leader and it is time that she holds a team meeting, with players only, laying out the team's expectations and the roles of the players. It is time that Jordan H channels Nicky Anosike, lays down the law, and get this team rolling. GBO.

And you know this has not already happened?

Sarah is willing to pass the ball that is enough for me for her to play over Marta. If Marta would get in there and do what she is supposed to do and quit trying to be a guard she might be the better option. Right now her individual play is making her not the best choice.

That is it on the $. Marta looked pretty good in the low block and has good passing skills. But, she tries to do much. Her dribbling skills are not at the level she apparently believes they are. However, this seems like a problem that could and should be sorted out.

Marta has been driving the ball since she got here. I assumed she was doing what Kellie is asking her to do since otherwise would put her on the bench. Could be an execution issue or poor decision making. Unless someone attends practice, I don't know how anyone would know.

I JUST DON"T KNOW!! Is Tennessee EVER going to be Top 5 in WCBB again? Apathy is the next harbinger. However, as the other poster said, Danny White WILL do what is necessary.
Right he do what best for team. He and ut board will not be moved by pro firer or pro kept kellie. I see finishing 3 to 5 place sec and they make ncaa..

i have no problem with her driving the ball, it's just that I haven't noticed her kicking it out to an open shooter when the drive is smothered by defenders. She tends to force it then - like Horston does, only Horston can still get to the rim or take a turn-around jumper - and gives a turnover or offensive foul or jump ball. I like her as a player, she has some skills.

I agree. She seems locked in at getting to the rim regardless. Wonder how many of those drives she is able to finish in practice?

This is what happens when you build out of the portal.......

Is it really? In recent years, how many disciplinary issues have there been with transfers? Let's count em up -- Keyen Green, nope, Jordan Walker, nope, Jillian Hollinsghead and Jasmine Franklin nope (so far a least), In contrast, I can recall recruited players like Evina Westbrook also being suspended for disciplinary reasons and others like Zaay Green and Te'a Cooper having to leave the University due to disciplinary issues. So, would you similarly conclude "that" is what happens when you build through high school recruiting? Or perhaps these problems are just random events that have more to do to with specific individuals than how they came into the program.

people say anything to fit their WRONG narrative. speculation about jackson’s incident does nothing but make you look silly. leave it alone.

Did you miss the part about "Marta has been driving the ball since she got here. I assumed she was doing what Kellie is asking her to do since otherwise would put her on the bench. Could be an execution issue or poor decision making. Unless someone attends practice, I don't know how anyone would know"? Taken in context, it might make more sense and you won't have to "House" me but funny anyway.

Ah, I wasn't Housing you, I was Housing the idea of people claiming to know what's going on without attending practices - something that never happens around here. I though that one worked as a sarcastic "huh, maybe that's a good idea" for the people who shoot from the hip with no involvement. I have no issue with your statement about Marta, and you even added that you didn't know because you aren't there with them. Which, you know, maybe people should think on that. Anyway.

Sorry, I should have picked a more expressive gif, I though that one worked.

I didn't know if you were trying to understand my post or I was poorly expressing myself but thought the "House" thing was cleaver nonetheless. I do think if people could watch a weeks worth of practices, their opinions might change.

Nope, I got the post, I agreed with the post, I just picked a vague gif.

And yes, practice would educate a lot of folks. Went to a few when Pat had them open way back when. And I knew some coaches (I always say I was friends with coaches - well, I was / am, though they're all retired now) who made it a point to go each season when they had time, just to get their own impressions of the team and what they worked on at sessions. They'd also get some fun tidbits here and there. I remember 2001, when they were all excited about some kid named Zolman who the staff was pretty high on. Stuff like that. Good times.

But more to the point, going to practice can settle a of misconceptions.

I think you misunderstood my post...
i’m agreeing with you haha. i just might have worded it weird. you hit the nail on the head with your post. transfers aren’t the problem. we’ve had plenty who were amazing - also want to mention Alexis Dye from last year. absolutely loved her and what she brought as a lady vol.

There are no such people.

Some thought she was not the best hire, but everyone universally wanted her to succeed.

Sure. That's why they immediately started complaining about why [the names keep changing] wasn't hired, why we "went cheap," why this wouldn't work, why her previous major college experience was a disqualifier, why the "blue hairs" made the call, why we need to go outside the LV family, why we need a big name/big money coach, and on and on. And it never let up even as goalposts moved and the team improved.

All signs of "universally wanting Kellie to succeed."

The evidence certainly supports your fanciful theory.
