Riley Ferguson had a fractured tibia

My son works the sidelines during games. He specifically told my Saturday night Peterman was struggling to throw the ball, no zip and lot's of wobble. Obviously he is not ready to play.

Dobbs has simply been the last man standing, not the #1 choice but the only healthy QB left.
Makes me wonder 'what if" if Charlie High had stuck around, just wondering not saying he's D1 but he may have got playing time.

The QB injury situation has been pretty obvious for some time now. I only have two comments:

1. Hope this shuts up the "play the other QB" crowd since now everyone knows or should know about the QB injury situation and that it takes time to heal broken bones.

2. Why let the opposing team know you are down to the last healthy QB option.

Well Just so ya know , Some of US fans in Florida knew RF was injured . How is it , Some the fans in TENNESSEE did not know it ? Just saying . Gruden is not coming folks . Never was . RF has been injured for a while now . Get on board the JD train for KY. Next year we will see either JW or RF at QB at TENN.

I am on the Justin W train . Gotta support a senior .

But wait....surely he will be able to play at 85% next week, and burn that dang red shirt. That way we can rest easy during the off season, as we will know there is a true leader at the QB position.

I'll hang up and listen.

This really is true. I think it's pretty clear Worley was the best option all along, even though many were clamoring for one of the freshmen.

And :yu: let this happen:no:

I know someone close to the situation. He told me that Riley Ferguson got the last of the Cookies 'N Cream ice cream at a team dinner a while back. Daniel "Shade Tree" McCullers apparently was not happy about this and tackled Ferguson which broke his leg....Vols just can't get a break this year..

Haha.

No.
With a bowl on the line, I was thinking that Butch would throw everything at Saturday's game. I was a little upset (lol) to see Dobbs take the field in the second half.

I thought that Petermen should have at least gotten a series or two in the 2nd halve, damn sure couldn't have hurt much
