Rings gather dust --Mark Richt

They should've brought home at least one NC during the David Greene years.

'04 team touted as one of best UGA teams in their history and the Vols beat them in Athens. Great win for the Vols. They were the better team that day. Doesn't make Richt a loser because they lost to the Vols.

I agree with what he said to his players. To play a sport at any level is to work hard to improve individually and fit into a team. Winning a championship is the goal of every team but only one wins it. To call the other teams losers is ignorant.

Richt was a great leader of young men and a very good coach. For anyone to call him a periennial loser when he won 10 games a year for 15 years in the SEC is ludicrous (say it like Mike Tyson says it).

Richt was a great representative for the University of Georgia and his teams were consistently in the hunt for the SEC championship. A lot of folks who never played a sport don't understand what goes into building a successful program. Richt did that. UGA will suffer for making this move.

Nobody has said that. Many have said that Georgia will probably regret letting him go and they're probably right.

Actually, lots of have. Again, just like the other guy, reading is your friend. I know it's hard though. Just skim and find something to disagree with is so much easier.

There's a lot more than one thread about Richt.

We still haven't accepted those results.

I'm comprehending everything just fine. You just aren't paying very much attention.

Continuing to repeat the same statement doesn't make it true. And since, as you stated, there's more than one thread on Richt that should make it even easier for you to find 6 posts that "gushed" how he's a better coach than Saban. Go ahead... I've got all night.

since you have all night, start reading. Take Midol for cramps. It's super easy. But I'm not going to be your personal reader. Get over yourself and just read the threads before you spout drivel you know squat about.

So two people have called you out for your foolish post, you've claimed there are many who've said it among many threads, but you're not willing to find six posts to support your claim.

Pretty much what I expected. It's quite evident who was spouting drivel.

Nah, it's just quite evident who's too lazy to do anything besides look at ten posts and make an assumption. I don't support laziness. F off.

the funniest part is there is literally one within this convo.

I ignored your previous post as it was filled with nothing but butthurt.

So you stated "most", I only asked for six, and you're now claiming one that you didn't even quote for reference.

Bravo... job well done. You have exceeded my expectations.

I'm lazy and refuse to go read threads on this site, but I'm going to continue to be a whiny brat 5 year old and call you out, even though I'm clueless. Bravo sir. Thanks

There ya go. Simplified your quote for you.

In truth and in the grand scheme of what should be important to all of the players, recruits, and parents he'll work with he's right. That said Bear was known to be an ever loving a hole and alcholic and he ended up on the walls of all the trailers in Tuscaloosa. To some Football and rings are their religion.

IMO, their best shot was in '12 when they had Bama on the ropes in the SEC CG. Had they won that game they would have (most likely) played ND in the BCS title game. They, too, would have crushed ND.

That pretty much was their best chance, yes. Especially since they came into the game ranked number 3 but were pretty much an afterthought before the game even started.

They had other chances other years, but that was easily the best one.

Shut up mark. You're paid millions to win rings.

There is a little truth to this... and there is some truth to "rings gather dust". I think sub par seasons can be ignored, of course, over time multiple sub par seasons probably won't be ignored forever.

Regardless, I'm not sure he is easy to replace, we'll see.

:clapping: (seemed like a good choice for this thread lol)
