I really think they can honestly. Not that a really good software engineer isn’t a valuable resource especially in embedded systems that I worked on. But the bar is fairly low to be proficient enough to earn a living writing code in many cases.

I'll bite, what is the significance of this chick holding a printout of some code with a paper clip on part of it? No one prints code out, unless Leah Culver is one of the slackers getting fired for being worthless and she is going to show Elon a thing or two by using up toner and paper.

Read the header. It’s a source file called something like LockScreenManager.swift and has a Twitter 2022 copyright.

Hopefully Musk sees this as the now allowed comedy or she might be going out in a blaze of glory.

Source code is generally copywritten. Just like schematics for electronics. However they could literally realize the exact same design if they just ported the development environment from swift to Python or C++ or something else.
