Yeah, I'm a disaster if I try to work from home. When everything was shut down I was one of 6 people out of 50+ in our company that still went in everyday. It was great for me. No interruptions and my commute was about 2/3 the normal time.

My most productive time was always physically at work with the door to my office shut… serious mode lol

The exodus at Twitter may have been the plan all along, maybe?

Twitter the platform as it sold itself was never all that high tech or requiring that high of tech. It's a glorified bulletin board after all. What required a high level of technology was using it to push algorithms and manipulation of public opinion. If being primarily a propaganda outlet is not it's purpose going forward. WTF would it need those people for? What it may need is a higher levels of security specialists as I am sure it will face much more attacks from cyber threats going forward especially from governments not keen on free speech. That's a completely different kind of IT engineer. He'd be crazy to trust most of these people, he needs to bring new people in. No one could be happier about the tantrums and quitters than Musk..it makes it easier for him.

I do not think it I know it. It doesn't take that many people to run a server farm. I have an IT background, and a large portion of my friends are also in the industry. They never needed this many people to simply run a social media platform. The main product they sold was fake bots, to show fake support for celebrities and politicians etc, and pushing particular stories etc. Manipulation was the product ..always.

I won't give you a break, your own ignorance of the world is for you to deal with. It's not my job to educate you. I seriously doubt it's even possible to educate you.

I think they were bloated with a bunch of soft ass , entitled bloggers / employees that had themselves a very nice little safety nest build there with about all the perks and extras that most employees could only dream of . The funny part of it all is they convinced themselves that “ they were Twitter “ and it would fail without them there . That’s just what I think .

If you wanted to see how much traffic is organic, vs organized and directed..... can you imagine a more perfect poll? I'll wager anything The main purpose of the poll has very little to do with the decision to bring Trump back or not. It has everything to do with monitoring traffic, and seeing finally who the players are. Want to wager what the Chi-Com farms are doing?

Non sequitur.

The only big social media co. I can find with fewer employees is snapchat. Instagram has 18k employees and their platform has almost nothing to do with politics

Tell me your butthurt, without tell me your butthurt... I agree there are many possibilities the most likely of which is Twitter can't keep up with the speed of follower adds., as no one has added this many followers this fast before.

It’s desperate times in this case only because of the priority that’s being placed on a social media platform . From a capitalism stand point , the man owns his business he can and should run it anyway he chooses, it’s his . From a societal stand point , the best thing he could to with it to help this country , is run it in the ground or just shut it down . It’s nothing more than a bullhorn to announce and prove to the rest of the world how stupid we are , how horrible our education system is , and how soft as a society we have become here .
