Selective enforcement is selective enforcement. Either terms of service are applied equally across the political spectrum, or they are not.

Again…missing the whole point. Is musk getting input from us government agencies or not?? If so, it’s just as reprehensible. If not, he can literally do what he wants. There’s actually a difference.

As long as decisions concerning membership and censorship are left up to the owner/management of the platform? Then whatever "input" has been given and received is meaningless ... There is nothing wrong with offering input, just as long as no pressures have been applied to follow it.

Donald Trump publicly lobbied for the broadcast licenses of CNN and NBC to be pulled ... and as dumb as that was, there was nothing wrong with it, as long as he did not take action to make it happen while President.

There is nothing wrong with giving input. Sorry that is apparently beyond you.

The fact that our own government colluded with a supposedly private company to influence narrative and an election...Whilst talking about Trump looking for dirt on Hills to impact an election?

Wait a minute ... We were assured that the avalanche of Russian fake news on social media during the 2016 Presidential Election, had no impact on the eventual outcome? Because people don't cast votes based on what they read on the internet? At least, that was the Republican narrative in 2017.

.... and can you prove that Twitter execs were pressured to follow guidance from government agencies? No, you can't.

That's not a hypothetical. I was told repeatedly on this forum in 2017, that Russian fake news on social media did not impact the 2016 election, because people don't cast votes based on what they read on the internet.
