RIP Twitter

Crazy that Elon can do all these insane things that everybody told him were impossible (space-x and tesla) but he can't manage a layup like twitter. Oh well. Best thing for Twitter would've been total free speech, but I'll settle for the total collapse and destruction of the platform as a decent plan B.

Elon's meltdown has been something to behold. He's always been eccentric, to be kind, but this Twitter debacle has been increasingly extra.

He really has no business being near a true day to day leadership role. SpaceX should be the model for all his businesses. Shotwell is outstanding. He needs the same for Tesla and Twitter.

You still going to buy a Tesla?

Oh yeah. I liked that little car. Big fan of BMW in general. Very satisfied with every one we had.

I always liked the interior with the wood and the fabric - they got pretty cheap and almost pulled the trigger but then the used market went completely bonkers

Yes! They used a lot of carbon fiber, both in body and interior. It was sharp. The seats took a little getting used to, but that's my only tiny quibble.

100%. Bought my first one three years ago and have been more than happy with it.

non-electric I've had 12 I can think of off the top of my head including every generation of 3 series except the first one and the last one (had 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th gen).

everyone of them was a great car to drive

I was a Mercedes guy, but then some dude decided to run a red light and total my car. A friend of mine told me I should give BMW a shot. I’m glad that I did. Now I know why they were always referred to as a “drivers car.”

It's weird that other cars can't seem to reproduce the driving experience. I've driven most everything and the BMW driving experience is indeed different. Porsche is still the peak for reasonably accessible cars but a BMW sedan is hard to beat

Well, we've already had two. Got a model S first, then a Y. Leased both. We now have a Rivian which we purchased and plan to keep long term
The truck or the SUV? I’ve signed up for one but go back and forth on whether I’m actually going to take delivery.
