RIP Twitter

So before the Twitter Files, you already knew that our government and Big Tech were working together to censor?

Yes, we all knew that. I am almost 100% positive that in its initial explanation of the laptop censorship, Twitter told the public it was because the FBI indicated it was a hack, and this went against Twitter's policy. That info definitely came out long before the Twitter files did. Twitter didn't get a message from the FBI saying "Censor this" it was a message saying, "this was a hack and goes against your policy" and naturally, Twitter said, "Oh yeah, we uphold our policies here."

Twitter did nothing wrong. The FBI, who I distrusted and have been pushing to abolish for nearly 20 years, is the party who did wrong.

We knew this. We knew they mass suspended accounts just for having the wrong follows (qanon types). My friend got suspended for his follows. Musk hasn't welcomed him back yet, btw.

Remember? I do.

My buddy's still not back on Twitter, BTW. Censorship lord and savior Musk didn't want those guys back, I guess.

Who gives a s***? You have an unhealthy obsession with this man. All of you looney leftists conveniently ignore all other outlets that have run cover for your heroes all these years.

Who gives a **** about complete information? I'm not at all surprised that you don't.

Why didn't Elon release everything?
Sometimes Twitter has to “selectively edit” tweets for the sake of time and clarity.

Rest assured, it does not affect Twitter’s commitment to informing the American public accurately, and any assertion to the contrary is not only false, it is a dangerous attack on our revered institutions that must be stopped.

Huh? Did you mean to respond to the post you quoted? That post wasn't about "selective edits" or edits/censorship at all.

Twitter gladly went along with the corruption with no evidence being provided to them that it was a hack. Then the 51 liars did their job, the debates occurred allowing Biden to lie, and we are still living with the fallout.

🤣

Man, I don’t know the last time I “meant” to do anything on this site.

I use it for levity throughout my day, connection with fellow Vols, and sometimes a little education (of myself more than others.)

Obviously, my attempt at humor didn’t quite land; it sure made sense in my head, though, and it was really funny there, you would have loved it!

Cheers! 😂

What are you basing this on?

You guys speak like you know. You're so misinformed you thought we found out about this because of the Twitter files, and then you have the audacity to guess at the motivations of the people who made the decision, and you have no idea who the people are or what they have to say about it.

I do know, because I cared about this story a lot, and what the truth is, and listened to an interview with the one person over policy enforcement whose call it was. She explained everything in detail, and that she did not take this decision lightly. You demonize people and you have no fkn clue.

You guys just say whatever is convenient with no care to search for the truth. You probably didn't even know this was one person's decision. You probably think some smoke-filled room of nefarious Twitter crooks made the call from the top. You want the things you say to be true, so you just believe them with absolutely no evidence.

So, you're saying Twitter was just an extension of the government agency you don't trust, correct?

What does that have to do with anything? I am also using StarLink. Some of the points you guys make are bewildering. It's as if you think you have to give 100% approval rating to everybody involved in order to use a service, but I know that's not how you look at the world. I guess this is the wittiest thing you got to say?

Why would I buy that book?
It is.

From testimony of FBI Laura Dehmlow below. Twitter was told early on the laptop was real, yet still went along with the lie.

The laptop can really belong to Biden and still be hacked. Twitter doesn't have a policy about fake laptops. It has a policy about hacked materials. I'm willing to bet this came from the same press release from the house judiciary where you found that:

"Put simply, after the FBI conditioned social media companies to believe that the laptop was the product of a hack-and-dump operation, the Bureau stopped its information sharing, allowing social media companies to conclude that the New York Post story was Russian disinformation.....The FBI had the laptop in their possession since December 2019 and had warned social-media companies to look for a “hack and dump” operation by the Russians prior to the 2020 election. Even after Facebook specifically asked whether the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation, Dehmlow of the FBI refused to comment, resulting in the social-media companies’ suppression of the story."

And to this day, we actually can't say 100% certainty that there was no hack (but that doesn't change the fact that the FBI intentionally misled everyone).

Ok, now I'm triggered. One of the GOAT movies, and we all know Musk liked it because he tried to sell his truck saying "blade runner would drive it."

Regardless of how one might feel about Elon Musk, it's pretty messed up that our government is holding meetings with British disinformation experts where their top annual priority is repeatedly "Kill Musk's Twitter". Shouldn't someone stand up in those meeting and tell the Brits to pound sand when they advocate 'killing' an American tech giant? Is this the kind of person you want running our country?
