I take care of several kids with autistic spectrum disorders, and they can be quite challenging. The higher-functioning kiddos are very interesting and often very skilled in certain areas, even to the point of near obsession.

When you understand more about ASD, you can easily tell how it affects Elon, but it also makes his story and success even more impressive. It's hard to believe that a person afflicted with Asperger's syndrome revolutionized the EV market, helped pioneer AI technology, has supplanted NASA as the leader in space travel, and very well might make it to Mars in his lifetime.
