RIP Twitter

What's funny about it?🤷‍♂️

LOL.

Picturing Musk in a knife fight is hilarious. I'll take a gun over a knife in this situation because I'm not Steven Segal, and neither is Musk (except in body type). A pistol works great in close quarters. Thinking about him believing that this tweet makes him look like a badass is also funny. Another layer...he thinks he's a target for assassination, and he's giving home defense secrets away to would-be assassins in order to impress dorky, internet strangers. This is all before I get into the memes.

I'm a fan of The Wire, so I loved this one:

Or this one reminds me of Charlie and Mac in Always Sunny gun vs sword fight

Don't be so hard on yourself. I'd bet you're a lot more like Steven Seagal than you think.

I think this mindset is in place due to things like the Tueller Drill. In a no kidding grapple/melee scenarios there's at least some argument to be made for something like a trench knife. I'm not sure that necessarily means that'd be the first preferred option, at least for most people. As a position defender (assuming I'm armed) staying out of melee weapon range would be pretty high on my to do list.
