Yea, strong can get fla scraps and diamonds in the rough. I feel enthused already.
that's not what i meant.
what i meant is that every recruiting class has a number of 5, 4, and 3 star recruits in it.
when strong signs a jordan williams or trevarris saulsberry out of the state of florida, they won't be sitting on your bench doing nothing or out on the field getting exposed.
they'll be able to contribute positively on the field.
i'm sorry to break it to you, but tennessee is going to lose its fair share of recruiting battles in the state of florida, georgia, alabama, etc.
strong will win some of them and lose some of them like everyone else. but, strong will also much better be able to identify other players that can contribute and excel.
the state of florida, as an example, puts out a ton of high school players. florida, florida state and miami don't get them all. i see them playing for teams all across the country.
right now, marlin lane, michael palardy, and pig howard are the only dudes from florida contributing. maybe one day, peterman. that's not a lot of production from a state that produces as much talent as florida.
