It's not fair at all but the correct answer is: multiple national championships and a stellar record of putting recruits in the NFL. You add those two things to your resumé and you can pretty much get away with anything.

Guys, let's stop the fake outrage. This kid was on hold the whole time. That's why he wasn't a commit already.

They took advantage of this kid being gullible enough to be okay with a fallback option and convincing him that things would probably work out. Is it ethically wrong? Yeah. But it's not that different than when we bring in kids like Pouncey on the last weekend and have them as a fallback option.

This kid could have went elsewhere. He had dozens of options but chose to be in this position. He probably doesn't have very smart people looking after his best interests if I was guessing.

I admit Butch would be treated differently than Saban in this situation, but Parks isn't a commit to Bama. It's not like he's been a commit for a long time and was told not to send in his NLI until they knew they had a spot at the end of the day after swinging for higher targets. Saban's won enough that players are willing to wait just to get a chance to be on that roster.

First off I'm a little disappointed considering this means that Bama is likely getting Ray, but if we can swing in and sigh this guy I would be all for it! This guy would have a distain for Alabama we need more guys who hate BAMA.

It's like breaking up with a girl, you don't want to actually say the words and admit you're a POS for stringing her along, so you tell her to wait while you figure things out. Guarantee Parks never hears from Bama again unless Ray for some reason chooses us.

Nobody seems to know the real story, atm. Most seemed to feel that he wanted in and assumed if we missed on Solomon, he would get in. If so, it didn't really make sense that he scheduled his announcement so early. A lot of people jumping to conclusions about this situation. Idk what's really going on with him.

Hearing some late movement with Bama and Chris Henderson after Dean flipped to UM. Guess Bama is waiting on two announcement before they green light Parks.
