Rivals Molesting Gators...

I'll go so far as to say that if Butch can't beat them this year, he never will and he's probably not the guy to ever win a championship here.

Every year since 2011 has been "the" year to finally get a W over the Gators, but this year is even more promising than 2012. In 2012, they actually had an offense and their defense was still elite.

In 2015, their offense will still be struggling and their defense won't be much better than ours.

And they will probably still f****** beat us

Them days are over my friend this new kind of talent we got now doesn't fear them like our players in other years, this team has got the MO JO that the last few years the teams we had were beat before we took the field, those days are over, we will be looking at Florida like we do Kentucky, we know we will beat them down and take there will why beating them, this team has a different feel than teams from the last few years, we got a damn good team now.:clapping:

never? oh the finality of it all. . .

Gators return 8O-8D mostly SR/JR I would not be so quick to dismiss them. The talent gap has certainly narrowed but they certainly will have the experience edge and a home field advantage.

If they had a 5☆ commit right now, they would still be ranked in the mid 80's! They have to finish VERY strong to close inside the top 25.

What do you not agree with? Seems pretty accurate to me. UF is going through the exact same thing we are pulling ourselves out of & I LOVE IT!!! No more uneven playing grounds from here on out!

Florida fans are in denial like UT fans were then.

We gotta beat them first. They still have good athletes and we still haven't beaten them so until we do I cannot guarantee anything.

FL may close decent, but even as bad the last 2 coaching changes @ TN our recruiting didn't fall near that bad. Kind of shocked being in the state of florida where they have 12000 4*s

You guys have a ton of talent on the current roster, you'll add several studs like Cowart and Ivey at the end, you'll likely finish with a top 20-25 class, you just hired a significant upgrade from Muschamp to run the program and you know you go into the season 1-0 as long as UT is on your schedule. I know some on here are trying to kick UF while they're "down" and poke fun.....I'm not one of them. Healthy respect for Florida at all times here.....fully expect an 11th straight loss this year in Gainesville.
You stated that, KB, as if you're looking in a mirror. "You guys?" That sounds like the gay duh trolls on here talking. FU's going to be experiencing what UT's been going through the past years in Kiffin's, Dooley's and now Butch's tenure, and that's a lack of depth. Fulmer couldn't beat Spurrier because the Chief couldn't figure out Spurrier's offenses. Top 25 class? That's a joke. With UT's last 2 massively loaded classes versus FU's shallow roster (there's talent, but not very much past 1st string), the shoe's on the other foot. There aren't any guarantees that McElwain's going to be the
"man." Muschamp's a lousy HC, but it's his defense that won their game in Knoxville. Our offense was flat ragged out by mid third quarter, so 10 points is all they needed to win. Add a suddenly new dimension of stopping a running qb, and all of a sudden that learning curve wasn't quite up to the challenge. All of those aspects have been negated with enough depth for the Vols to wear a lot of people down and enough experience to be better able to deal with adversity. For those of you who say they'll believe it (a W over the gay duhs)only when they see it : Faith is believing what you can't see. It's what you believe. I know that the odds should favor UT...and I have faith that the Vols are changing a lot of things in the future...one of them being the superstition that there's some sort of hex in this rivalry. And I think the majority of us believe this really is a new era in UT football.

I think they will close pretty well. Enough to get back into the top 25 or so. McElwain is Bama's former OC, (if I heard it right on ESPN), and did a bang up job at Col.St.

We can't count a win against the Gators until we actually do it. Never would have thought Muschamp would have had a chance against us this year. Oh well.

Only with a lot of help from the refs.

If UF only plays true freshman next year, we will have an undeniable advantage.
However, if they go full crazy and play upper classmen also....That may make this more of a game than some are letting on.
