You take the good with the bad. I've seen a lot more UT wins than I have losses (not lately mind you). As you get older, you figure out that there is more to life than caring what 18-22 year olds do that you don't even know. Once we can get better leadership at the top then we'll turn it around and be more consistently good. I think we have a good baseball coach. Hoops remains to be seen. Jones looks promising so far, but he has yet to coach a game.

I will be in my 90's and still be invested fully in ut sports.....my wife knows what has happened in the game without asking lol......I love Serrano and am a huge jones fan......serious doubts about Zo though.

I don't follow the baseball team, so take it easy on me...but haven't they done pretty poorly since Serrano got there? Missed the SEC tournament last year right?

Yeah they have sucked......he tore down the entire roster and is trying to rebuild it

You won't make it to your 90's if you let it bother you that much. Heh.

Serrano will get it turned around. The series win over Ky over the weekend is a sign of things to come. He's a winner. He'll win at UT.

I think Jones will succeed. How much to keep the legion of the miserables happy? Who knows. He'll need full support from his bosses.

Agreed on Martin. This year is put up or shut up. He has no excuses not to make the tourney with or without Stokes. It would serve him well if he won a couple of games too.

I don't know if it's been brought up or not (or how much it really matters what UT's recruiting ranking is other that to say it's not top 10 but it's within the top 50) but, if Landry actually is the guy that isn't here next year to make room for Thompson, then shouldn't UT's rankings actually go up? He's a low end 3 star guy and he can only be hurting UT's average at this point.

Im not.for sure how all of.it works but dont most of them go by total points and even a low 3 star adds points.

Not to re-hash an old argument and I can see where it is confusing but if you look at the actual URL's for the 2 pages one reads "CompositeTeamRankings" at the end and one simply reads "Team Rankings".

This is a simple error on the part of whomever is in charge of web design at 24/7 not some huge conspiracy.

Not too sure myself but I thought some of them worked off some metric of total points and average of the entire class so you couldn't get an overly inflated rating by just signing 7 3 star kids compared to, say, a class of 3 5 star kids.

28 on scout - they don't have Thompson ranked, top 150 player on Rivals

27 on 247

Not in top 40 on ESPN - their player rankings are a joke, Hubbs a 89 4*???

We are 37th on 247 composite rankings. If they use just 4 services; 28, 27, 41 and 52 would come out to 37. Without knowing rivals and Espn's rankings, it's basically a guess what they really are.

Hubbs is ranked #34, 2013 ESPN 100 (4-star).

His numerical grade is 89.

Who cares about what we are freakin ranked? We got 1 great player. 2 Good players. And 2 Players that are not good.

The only ranking that I care about is that there are 5 other schools in the SEC that are ranked above us in all the polls.
