Why would anybody expect RFKjr to be a viable Libertarian candidate anyway? I’m amazed he got 19 delegates.

There have been a couple that resonated with me. I voted for Gary Johnson in 2016.

But RFKjr is a far left big government Democrat. A snowball has a better chance of surviving in hell than he does to get the Lib nom.

I too pulled it for Johnson in ‘16

I might pull it for RFK in ‘24 - not because of his positions, or because I would want him to be president.

If my inconsequential vote for RFK could lend even a whisp of momentum to the idea of a 3rd party being a viable alternative in this country - well then maybe that’s something worthwhile I could do with my vote 🤷‍♀️

I think RFKjr is going to have to run as an independent as I can’t see he was ever a serious candidate for the Libertarian Party. He is further left than Biden and thus will likely dilute the Dem vote further. There isn’t any noticeable overlap between RFKjr and any larger GOP platform so I don’t see any dilution there.

I would guess any dilution on the GOP block this voting season would likely look hard at the Libertarian platform.
