If the high school officials are only putting messages like this up for us then I think it is very inappropriate. School administrators shouldnt have any influence in the process of a kids recruitment and if this is their way of showing favoritism shame on them for taking advantage of their positions of authority. If Hubbs himself wanted this done and no other schools received the same treatment then that's another story. The real question is has the school done this for other schools? For the sake of the integrity of the administrators I hope they welcomed all schools to their campus just the same.

Selfishly it's great but we recruit in other states heavily in all sports. So be careful what you approve of when it benefits us. School administrators owe it to their students to be impartial.

it is a state school and it is no worse than most coaches pushing a kid or kids to a school because they bennifit by getting a new job or other things.

Just another cool story sorda, I went to watch the UT vs NCst game at a friends house, whose wife is a teacher at DCHS. I asked her if she has Hubbs in any class. She said she did last year. She also said he was a great kid, really nice, and grades are decent, but IMO not good nough for Duke. I just thought it was cool to get a view from one of his teachers.
A cool story? really? Never post grades about Tennessee prospects.
Does she realize he is a star recruit? Her information is inaccurate because he
could attend Duke in hoops. It doesn't matter because he is a Vol!
