I was there!!

Lofton can still shoot the lights out!!

What was going on with CJ Black and Chism/Woolridge? Black was throwing elbows at Chism every time he got the ball and it looked like Woolridge got up in his face at one point and Chism got in between them...can anyone offer any more insight about that situation?

Saw that too. I thought Chism and Black were just messing around and then the elbows started flying. Didn't Chism and Ron Slay get into it a little bit last year? I remember something like that happening last year too.

Black threw a cheap shot at Woolridge early on. Wayne and CJ were tussling from time to time...then Wayne got a little frustrated and took and tried to dunk OVER Black. Well, Black stood in to take the charge. They went back down on the other side and Black started throwing elbows in the post on Wayne. EVERYONE around me commented on what a D-Bag Black was being. Finally, Woolridge said something to Black and Wayne pulled him away.

Really, it was just a bunch of whiny crap. Lofton did take Woolridge's legs out from under him (completely accidental) and Woolridge busted his chin up.

Lofton also burried a 3 from the corner with about 30 ticks left that looked identical to the shot again Wichita St. Very nostalgic...

I saw the last game. My friend who has class with Watson said he's playing at like...50% effort.
Oh, and for the record, Steven Pearl still blows.

I thought Lofton got his degree at the end of his 4 years...

I don't think he did, but I'm not sure. It wasn't completely his fault. Some profs are not too understanding with athletes, like at tournament time when they are gone for lengthy periods. From what I heard though he was really trying at the time and wanted to get back this summer and try to finish up. JuJuan I believe might be a different story. Then again, I love them both, and I'm not any real insider, just what I heard.

I've actually looked into it, and everyone said he walked across the stage...

The shot was against Winthrop. Lost to Wichita St. in the next round.

Steven Pearl is an above average basketball player per Griff...

He has said multiple times on the radio...

Players I've gotten info from believe he is god-awful.

I've never seen someone so terrible with the ball. It was funny, during his game I said that I can't believe that he doesn't have anything going for him. My friend told me that I couldn't do any better, and I said, "I don't play high major D1 basketball, either."
There was no response to that...

And for the record, I could put up some numbers against lil Pearl...

I honestly don't think he could have started at my HS

He might have at mine simply because we were terrible...

He would have been the starting CENTER at my HS. That's how bad we were...but we were a football school anyway and haven't been relevant in basketball in over a decade.

I should say I don't think he would have started when I was there. I'm almost 100% positive he wouldn't have started this past season (and they didn't have major D-I talent)
