Agree. I think Kansas is where he will end up if he ever leaves. UConn don't have the money and he has let it be known that money is a big factor.

He gets extreme $$$$, he gets to be #1 in the entire state, and competing for titles.

He's not getting all 3 of those at Uconn, fake UT, or LAL

They are only contenders this year because they pulled Luka Doncic in an absolute heist. (And tbh, they arent contenders as long as OKC, BOS, Denver,and Cleveland are healthy). They were headed straight towards the play in with an injury prone AD, no cap space, a 40 yr old LeBron, and no future draft assets to speak of.

No one could foretell that the Lakers would pull Luka out of their ass. If Hurley knew that, he would be coaching the Lakers today.

The Lakers without the Luka deal would have been like they were post Magic and post Kobe. They would have been in the abyss for 4-6 years until they got the cap space and draft assets needed to reload.....

Hurley saw this. He knew he would have likely failed in LA....

Guys on the radio today said Texas will offer Hurley at UConn whatever he wants

I wish he'd go, but if the Lakers couldn't pull him, Texas won't be able to...he likes his dad/family being able to come to games.

They were in line for the play in game when the deal was done (Tie for 6th without tiebreaker for two other teams tied with you)......
