I get the occupancy argument with number of butts in seats. If that is the way the law is written then the HOV lady doesn't have a case. If it is written as persons in a vehicle, she has an argument. In that case, the embryo is or isn't a person.

This also begs the question of if two people occupy the same space, are they really separate? At what point does the rights of one trump the other?

The Biden administration said Monday that hospitals must ensure patients can receive abortions when deemed medically necessary in emergency situations in spite of bans in many states on the procedure in most cases.

The Department of Health and Human Services said a federal law, the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act, stipulates that physicians must perform an abortion in an emergency regardless of state law.

Futher proof its not about the embryo, its about controlling women.

And how are incest victims supposed to get an abortion before they know they're pregnant. That doesn't make sense.
