Roe vs Wade Overturned

Forcing a woman to do what she does not wish to do seems like forced labor
There's a difference between consequences to actions and being forced to do something against your will. The consent occurs when a male and a female have sex. They assume and know the risk of conception because that's the only way to naturally get pregnant

If you don't want to get pregnant, don't have sex. Simple.

If you do get pregnant, the result is another person being created. Inconvenience or preference does not provide a license to kill someone. It never has and never will. A crime against you does not give a license for you to kill a baby. Be responsible.

Comparing it to slavery is ridiculous and lacks awareness.

Sure it does. Half the states think so.

So by your definition you consider any limit on abortion to be “slavery”? Just got clarification

Mine is a rights issue. I value the rights of the woman over that of the fetus until viability. After that I value the rights of the fetus over that of the woman.

It is always so black and white with you guys. Live in the gray.

Sex is for pleasure. I certainly don't have sex for the purpose of having children.

So, you believe in forcing women to carry fetuses to term that are a result of incest or rape? You are a sick and depraved human who for the sake of consistency better be against the death penalty.

Yes, until birth.

Perhaps you should reconsider your position. Maybe it’s not actually slavery. Especially given this is a preventable condition.

Poor personal decisions have consequences. If you fail to use contraception we still have IUDs and morning after pills. If that fails you have x number of weeks depending on which areas are nearest you.

If you make that many back to back poor decisions (fail to use contraception, fail to use emergency contraception, fail to have an abortion within a reasonable time frame) it seems like you’re a slave to your own choices. Which we all are

I agree that poor choices have consequences. Not all unintended pregnancies are the result of poor decisions. Contraceptives fail. Women don't find out they are pregnant within 48 hours for the morning after pill.

And even if the pregnancy was the result of a poor decision. It is one for which the unintended consequences can be eliminated.

Having an abortion is a consequence by the way.

I've said many times here I'm against the death penalty.

Sick and depraved is thinking that killing an innocent life is justice for a crime committed. It's a meaningless sacrifice. Rapists should have the harshest punishments under law imo. Not released for pennies in these big cities.

You just have no compassion for women.

You just have no compassion for women.
Lol. That's obnoxious. My stance saves more women than harms. Yours kills women before they have a shot to see the world. It ends it for eternity. Yet I lack compassion? How is killing something more compassionate?

You have no idea what happens after death. If this is our only shot at life, I'd disagree that I'm the one who lacks compassion.

Poor choices are the main reasons contraceptives fail. So “contraceptive failure” is more of an excuse than a real thing. Most contraceptives with correct use are extremely effective. Especially IUDs. And yes, in many places women will still be able to get an abortion.

Hard to claim someone with so many options is “being forced”.

So how exactly is this slavery? “I forgot to take my pill, didn’t use a condom, didn’t use emergency contraceptives, and waited 18 weeks to do anything…Now I’m a slave!”

If you guys are hell bent on making sure the woman gives birth, can you be consistent and force the father to be a father instead of running around ****ing anything that moves and living free of the consequences of his actions?

Imagine your compassion so great that you would force a woman who was impregnated via rape or incest to carry to term. And the compassion for a woman that must carry a nonviable fetus to term. That's compassion.

I assume you are against abortion in the cases of an ectopic pregnancy? What about when giving birth will seriously endanger the woman's life?

How's that compassion now? Sh!t happens when you have sex, right?

Yes. I agree with that.

Now how would you enforce it?
You already have it with child support payments, which I don't think anyone is asking to get rid of.

The flip side of your argument is easy too. If a woman is free to get an abortion to terminate her responsibility, then child support payments should go away entirely.

Would you agree to ban all abortion except for rape, incest and ectopic up to 10 weeks?

Imagine you, a literal discompassionate racist, arguing in favor of abortions on the grounds that they're "compassionate" using sad examples representing a fraction of abortions.
