It would be hard for any match remaining to top the drama of the Sharapova/Safina match.I'm not trying to take anything away from the Safina/Dementieva winner who will play Svetlana Kuznetsova in the other semifinal match, but the Ivanovic/Jankovich matchup will probably be the best match of the tournament on the women's side. This is assuming Jankovich's nagging injuries hold up.

really??i really think you'll see it. Serb vs Serb, both vying for their first Grand Slam title. Sharapova just looked too flat and conservative in the Safina match. I thought she had gotten past that, but evidently not. Sharapova has always had a problem being too tentative if things didn't start out good for her.

I think she's too stubborn in her flat ball, rocket pace approach, even on days when her timing is lacking. I'd like to see her back off some, top spin it more and put a lot of balls in play. That said, I don't know if she has the wheels or athleticism to play a style that just gets a lot of balls in play.
