Roman Harper and his bias is laughable

Compare our schedule to OM and ask yourself whose schedule will come back to haunt them. If the SEC gets 4 teams in and we are 10-2 then this Saturday is not a must win game.
I want to agree with this, but the media is looking for a reason to keep us out. From the comments about UGA just toying with Florida to this nonsense, the bias is there. Win Saturday and we shut them all up. We can also beat Texas or ATM in Atlanta.

I did read the whole thread. For years there has been a bama bias, mostly earned through the Saban years. They get benefit of the doubt. Last year they had one loss and got in over the back to back champs with the same record, and an undefeated conference champ.
Bama bias goes way back to the Bear Bryant years. For years then, the SEC was a 6 game conference schedule for everyone - except Bama. They got to schedule a 7th game for some reason. So if they finished the season tied in losses with another team, they had one more win giving them first place and the Sugar Bowl invite.

Saying Tennessee better win out because even if Bama were to have 3 losses they should get in over a 10-2 UT team. There are way too many Gumps on media panels these days trying to pump up playoff committees.
I like to think of it like this. We beat Bama. It was no fluke.
Bama now works for US. They can's pass us unless we lose. But they can help lift us because of SOS.
Harpers' logic is faulty. Hey, he's a bammer. They really don't learn things in school.

Also, I want to mention that the goal is to win the SEC!!!!
If you win the SEC you are 3 games away from the NC.
If you get to the playoffs without a bye, you play 4 games.
Winning 4 (approximately) 50/50 game is much harder than winning 3 50/50 games.
To win 4 50/50 games (like flipping 4 heads in a row) calculate 0.5x0.5x0.5x0.5 = 6.25% chance
To win 3 50/50 games just do it 3 times = 12.5%
Just win the darned SEC. That should always be goal #1

Why on earth would anyone care what this or any national media clown thinks or says? So happy I avoid this kind of garbage.
Because they influence the committee believe it or not and it’s also fun to point out how dumb the Gumps are.

The Ky loss by OM @ home should haunt them far more than losing at Ark.

Doesn’t matter thou. Vols win Sat. 24-20

It isn’t right, but in these situations do you think they will hose us or bama? See last year’s results if you need an answer.
We beat them head to head. Florida State didn’t have that . I ain’t worried. Bama winning only helps us

Bama is 4-1 against current AP Top 25. UT is 1-0.
