Roman Harper and his bias is laughable

If Bama’s third loss is in the SECCG, he probably is right. I do not think we get in if we loose Saturday at Georgia. Strength of schedule will come back to haunt us. Mostly, not our fault since OU and NC State failed to show up this year but we do ourselves no favors scheduling UTC, Kent State, and UTEP.

ALSO, our offense wins but is not exceptional.
And losing to a bad Ark team.

This is the hole in the new system. CG losers should be penalized for losing. Make it like a final exam worth a chunk of your grade.

Typo. Point being, Bama has played a much more difficult schedule. Must beat UGA.
A big reason it is difficult because they played us, but at the same time the perception is we aren’t good because we lost to Arkansas. Bama also lost to Vandy, and we beat Bama and (hypothetically) Vandy too. OM has a good win and bad loss (like us) but everyone is singing their praises.

The inconsistency and bias makes my head spin.

Saying Tennessee better win out because even if Bama were to have 3 losses they should get in over a 10-2 UT team. There are way too many Gumps on media panels these days trying to pump up playoff committees.
A three loss Bama won’t make it in IMO. I know he’s assuming Bama loses in the SECCG and that being runner up would get them in but there are just too many other teams nationally that will be 11-1 or 10-2 for Bama to get in…I’m not saying that a 10-2 Tennessee gets in - I think we’d be on the bubble because our only quality win would be against a 10-3 Bama and most of our wins are against teams with losing records (or against non power 4 teams).

Just my biased opinion but if the want the top 12 teams they have to take 5 or 6 SEC teams…unfortunately they will only take 3 or 4.

Yea, Ole Miss's losses to Kentucky at home and to a very average LSU team should bite 'em in the a$$.

It wouldn't be right, but wouldn't shock me either. They played a tougher schedule, but either way Head to Head should matter. If Ala loses to Auburn, definitely not. If they lose in the SEC Championship, then possibly.

The narratives have begun on all national media, UT is 100% going to get the shaft if they are in a 10-2 playoff debate.

And let’s not forget, if we beat Vandy then that’s a common opponent on top of the head to head matchup we won as well.

We sealed our fate when we stumbled half asleep through the Ark/UF/UK series. The loss to Ark was devastating. Then the close uninspired games against lesser opponents?

The offense this year is a complete puzzle to me but it is simply not producing points. Not nearly enough to erase the stench of that Ark debacle.
