Meyer is merely a function of great assistant coaches, a fertile recruiting base (which includes Virginia Beach, VA...Bristol, CT...Ft. Washington, MD...among other places) and a glorified fullback playing QB.

But he would have beaten Florida had it not been for the aid of a referee. Imagine what he will be able to do when the calls go his way.

A few of these responses by VD were to statements not even directed to VD's statements.

You hope Meyer will not succeed (i.e win 2 more NCs) without Tebow, Mullen, Strong and imaginary crooked referees.

Some of us hope but understand that the recent run may never be duplicated.

That certainly does NOT mean that Meyer is not an elite coach, right now and deserves every bit the credit that any coach, including Saban, currently receives.

It's not that complicated when the green tinted glasses are removed.
