I am simply typing responses and do not know how to type in a style that makes you hear whining.
But if you hear whining, through your computer screen, who am I to argue ?
If the so-called "whining" bothers you, you are free to leave.
I know you don't care about facts but just for kicks.
Coach Meyer had a structural issue causing him to eat poorly, lose weight, and have increased blood pressure.
Serious enough for you, Doctor.
That is hilarious.
Now, back to your many classy, factless jabs.
Oh My God..... You're right this is hilarious.
You are hilarious..
Originally I had intended to simply agree to disagree with the 'Meyer is elite/not elite' debate. LW, who I used to somewhat respect until this thread has joined you, incinigator, in the moronic gator troll ranks. Both of you have really shown your intelligence by being baited into a long winded, ridiculous Meyer/Gator defense...
Why do you feel so compelled to come on a UT message board and defend your 'mighty' gators and your 'elite' coach?
We are the 'down and out' Vols who got beat by Wyoming no less. You're the high and mighty, obnoxious gator trolls, why do you even care what we think?
I find it absolutely hilarious that you guys are so damn sensitive about our opinions on anything to do with Florida. I've read your posts and just can't help but to laugh my arse off at you guys...
You're pathetic...
Again.
Interesting that addressing lame, baseless, uninformed attacks against Meyer makes others insecure ?
It is insignificant in gauging Floridas future success (Championships); which is what I thought we were talking about.
No, it was what you wanted to talk about.
It is interesting that you play up their success (SEC HC, Big East HC, one of the most decorated college QBs ever) while downplaying the effect their loss will have on the Florida program.
But he would have beaten Florida had it not been for the aid of a referee. Imagine what he will be able to do when the calls go his way.
QUOTE]
So then, it's Tebow, Mullen, Strong and referees on the take that are behind Meyer's success.
I don't want that. I am looking forward to seeing what he can do on his own. You know; without Mullen, Tebow, and Strong.
Makes as much sense as Meyer will not be affected by the loss of Mullen, Tebow, and Strong.
Only in your world of insecurities is Meyer has never won anything without Mullen or it will be interesting to see if Meyer can maintain his success without Mullen, Strong, and Tebow a lame baseless attack.
Just a summary for those looking to save some time on this "discussion".
We get your ONLY point of contention.
A few of these responses by VD were to statements not even directed to VD's statements.
You hope Meyer will not succeed (i.e win 2 more NCs) without Tebow, Mullen, Strong and imaginary crooked referees.
Some of us hope but understand that the recent run may never be duplicated.
That certainly does NOT mean that Meyer is not an elite coach, right now and deserves every bit the credit that any coach, including Saban, currently receives.
It's not that complicated when the green tinted glasses are removed.
Enough for now.
Good luck, this season. The Gators are in for a rough one in Knoxville in a few weeks.
The vols should be back VERY soon and this bitterness will hopefully subside.
Meyer is still a lame D'bag that can't handle disappointment. I am extremely interested to see how UF does this year. I'm sure if they have another 2007-esque year we won't hear how they were young, inexperienced, etc...I am just waiting for the "We didn't have Tebow, Mullen, Strong, etc...".
How many linebackers you guys recruiting to play QB? And, FWIW, you should probably go ahead and start a fund to monitor Meyer's food intake and therapy sessions.
A season resembling 2007 wouldn't be too terribly bad.
9-4 and a humorous 59-20 victory over the boys from Knoxville.
I don't doubt the loss of Strong, Mullen, Tebow and several more quality players will have a serious effect, this year. Just trusting in the AD,coach, and the staff and hoping for the best.
No LBs being recruited for QB at Florida. Not really necessary considering they'll settle for a high school QB ranked #1 by a few people (knowing how much those ranks mean to many here).
Meyer has a great health plan and millions of $. He is getting the medical help he needs. Nice of you to be concerned.
Incinigator, why is it you and lw have been on this thread arguing opinions all day and when I point out the only fact you've tried to argue is wrong I get no response? You're on a UT message board, telling us how great UF is. You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but unless it's an irrefutable fact, you probably won't have a lot of support here. Quit being so defensive. If you want to talk about how "elite" CUM is, go to a UF board.

I think Meyer probably has mommy issues, maybe he was coddled too much as a kid.
If you guys go 9-4 I'm betting Meyer "retires" again to continue the attention whoring soap opera you guys practice down there. He will come out of retirement when he gets another circumsizing emotional retard to play QB and Saban retires to get the competition back to proper levels. Afterall, he needs to consider his elite status reputation.
Nevertheless, you guys will still beat Tennessee this year just like everybody else will (and everybody else has over the last 5 years or whatever Meyer's run has been). Still doesn't mean it isn't fun to make fun of the ridiculous high school drama you guys continually flaunt on national television so all the eggheads can drool over your genius coach.
Another coed?
Or whatever it was. The guy clearly can't properly manage home life and work at the same time. For some reason the commentators never could see through the asinine stunt that it was.
But heah, he's an elite coach, and Tebow is a great leader that wears his emotion on his sleeve (and national television).
