I would trade Powell for anyone on our defense and wouldn't with the others 99gator mentioned. I wish him an October recovery. I hate it for him.

It was actually developed at Florida state. They sold it to UF. They called it Seminole fire water iirc.

I know there are loser fans for every team, but when I was watching the game last year and Hunter went down, I remember the crowd being quiet and then cheering him on when he was carried off the field. It seemed that the majority of people were being supportive.

It got quiet and people did give props but when it first happened I saw multiple parties slapping hands and exclaiming "thank god". My friend, a gator, told the closet people to show some class.

ask any gator fan and they will tell you that floyd and easley were and are better defensive lineman. period. end of story.

you just went somewhere and looked up his stats and saw he led the team in sacks. that's great and all, but it's highly misleading.

on some teams the defensive back who leads the team in interceptions could be the worst player in the secondary.

powell is a solid football player and he starts for a reason. he will be missed. he is not the best player on defense.

Well I feel bad for Powell but I have no sympathy for gator fans. I got told by several of them they would have beat us even if hunter didn't get hurt. Let's see if they can beat us without Powell.

powell had 32 tackles on the season. 20 were solo tackles.

so he averaged, 2.5 tackles per game and .5 sacks.

he was the 10th leading tackler on the team. 3 defensive lineman had more tackles than powell
