I don't think it's bandwagon to be a peyton fan. I have a dilemma though. I've been a life long 49ers fan but I also want to see Peyton win another super bowl before he retires.

I've never been a fan of pro football, college only. Peyton is the only reason I tune in on Sundays.

Ludicrous. I remember the day that Peyton committed like it was yesterday. I've been a fan of his ever since. He's been the best representative the UT football team has had for the past 20 years, probably ever. Pardon me for placing my Tennessee loyalties above pro football.

As far as Peyton turning down the Titans... Who can blame him for not wanting to go there and play his last years for a horrible organization? The amount of butthurt Titans fans have over this is laughable. That fact and the idea that you're supposed to root for them if you're from Tennessee is what has me ambivalent at best toward them.

If they actually made a better effort to reach out to the rest of the state or University of Tennessee fans, it might have been different.

This can be elaborated.

KY, Duke, UNC, Michigan, UCLA in college basketball

Texas, TN, USCw, Bama, Notre Dame, and a few select others in college football

Yankees in baseball, Boston/Lakers or whichever team lebron is on in NBA.

If you are a fan of 2 or more of these teams you are a bandwagon fan. (very few exceptions I've found)

I don't really care too much about the NFL, honestly. It's college football above all else. So I'm going to root for former Vol football players in the NFL. Call me band-wagon if you want to, whatever.

This is as strange of a thread as I have ever seen. No matter what team I personally pull for....I will always pull for Peyton. He represents the University of Tennessee and does it exceptionally well. Go Peyton and the 3 other Vols on the Broncos team. And oh yes....even Jim Bob Cooter coaches there. I just can't imagine a Vols fan not pulling for Peyton in the Super Bowl....ofcourse unless you live in Seattle. Just don't get this one at all.

Have to wonder if ur a real fan of anything with a statement like that??? I try pull for teams with former vols but some teams I can't stand but don't wish former players bad games or injuries

That little team from Houston never grew on me and I have never really had an NFL team that I care enough about to actively pull for. For that reason alone, I will pull for PM because he is one of the greatest ambassadors ever for UT.

I always wonder about the guys who hate on Manning and the people who root for which ever team he is on.

Not everyone is as passionate as you are about the NFL. Most of us are such die hard UT fans that we don't have the emotion to invest on a Sunday.

Maybe if you were a little bit better Vols fans you would understand where we are coming from. I'm sorry UT has been down ever since you jumped on the wagon and you have to supplement it with the NFL. (See what I did there?)
