For those of us who already knew the difference between step and half, does anyone else think we should do this besides me?

Article said he wanted to get closer to Phoenix so it might be a dead issue anyway. I don't know if he and Swiperboy have a close relationship? Sounds like they grew up in different areas.

This thread sure went to crap. I myself could care less who his mother is, who his father is, or who his 3rd cousin's roommate is. Can the kid play ball and or do the Vols have interest in him?

Now that we know the difference between step vs. half siblings. . .maybe we should establish (for those that may have grow up in a two parent household in TN and have never visited AZ) if Knoxville or Lawrence is closer to Phoenix.

For those that want to know what a douche is read below.

QUOTE=pimo1;4908495]/facepalm read above

everyone here realizes that just by being here you must be on the internet and since you are on the internet there are many many resources out there to stop people who might be a bit less educated from putting their foot in their mouth? google, dictionary.com to name 2 among thousands of resources that can stop you from being "that guy". Honestly one would think on a topic like this one would not need that but wow.... just wow

and by the way when you hit the space bar and there is a red line under the last word you typed it does not mean u get bonus points it means the word is spelled wrong. right click on it to get a correct spelling. unless you have not updated your browser in the last 10 years or have disabled the feature all modern browsers and most cell phones have spell checkers built in.[/QUOTE]

I'll take doubtful for $500, Alex.

That's funny. I say that to people sometimes.
What is no, Alex.

What if there were a category on jeopardy titled Mike Hamilton's worst decisions ever?

Double Jeopardy as well.
Wonder which Stupid decision ranks where?
$200
$400
$600
$800
$1,000-could answer be MH fired this coach after 17 years as HC, MH hired this Douche to replace him, MH did what 2 days before NCAA tourney? BP, Delmonico, TR?
List goes on & on. Could be a tough category. Lol.

He should get his online degree from the Univ. of Phoenix while in Knoxville. That would be the closest IMO.

I think this should be linked to wiki under D-bag... I'm actually a little surprised he (pimo) hasn't been flamed in epic fashion for that condescending, unbelievable failure of attempted correction... more than a few times anyway. Lol

There is a button to the left of "z" and the right of "/" that allows you to capitalize words. I wouldn't criticize spelling errors if I was too lazy to use simple capitalization.

Wouldn't know the difference, as I grew up with same father and mother that have been married going on 50 yr anniversary. Guess its the new generation and world we live in now with fathers having 50 kids spread around the country with different mothers! Example: Travis "Cheese" Henry JUST SAYINGGGG

Yeah. Moses agrees.

If you are going to call another poster out for incorrectly using language and/or grammar, you might want to use punctuation, when and where it is appropriate, and capitalize the first word of every sentence.

That said, I do applaud you on your ability to distinguish yourself as an a**.

While I do completely agree with you, it is expected and the status quo on here that if you call someone out and jump on your soap box and attempt to flame someone for being wrong you can expect to get flamed substantially if you err in your attempted calling out. Especially if you don't even have enough ammo in your pocket to back your stance so you have to grasp at straws and point out grammatical errors in your rebuttle instead of using substance to validate your opinion. Not only that, but the reason this whole thing started was because of pimo's inability to comprehend what he was reading in the first place.

ie: If you walk up to Brock Lesner and attempt to critique his right hook, expect to find out why he thinks it works for him... when you awake from your slumber.

If Pimo had chosen a different approach, such as a simple, less condescending post this would not have resulted in several people retaliating and notice who hasn't been back on to attempt to defend themself. Apparently he has chosen the tuck your tail between your legs defense.

Also, I have found that that defense is the best on Volnation. TIFWIW

Just throwing this out there...maybe there should be a VN grammar and spelling screening test that everyone has to take and pass if they want to join this site. It could include stuff like:

*Definitely
*Two/to/too
*Whose/who's
[Apostrophes in general]

And don't forget: You're/Your and It's/Its.

I could pass that test, I hope. However, I've never mastered affect vs. effect.
