That gives us a shot if they're considering the circumstances that a bunch of our losses came before Stokes was eligible. They've picked teams with RPIs in the 70s before under certain circumstances. I'd like to see us move up some more, though.

Win two in the SEC tourney and it will not matter. With the good seeding if they lose early and they don't deserve to be in it anyway.

Zans...

Kudos man you nailed it, I was hoping you were off.

I was hoping so too. But on the bright side it means the math on Rpiforcast is solid. Thus, reaching the championship game and losing gives UT a mid 50s RPI, which gets rid of one of their nagatives on their resume.

Obviously - but hard to see Auburn beating Ole Miss in round 1.

It's hard to pick anything in the tourney. Most SEC teams have struggled away from home this year. So putting any two of them on the floor at a neutral site means anything can happen.

I read on another board that our RPI was 62 in one RPI poll after todays game. Seems like we would have picked up more than 7 spots (62 to 75) after beating Vandy

Problem is, teams directly above us keep winning.
That should change next week, but we have to keep winning too.
Have to win 2 more.
Also, you could get slightly bigger jumps on a neutral court. Not much bigger, but a little.

It just bothers me that teams with losing conference records (Northwestern) are getting all this "Bubble" love and we are 10-6 in the SEC and may finish in 2nd place, played KY twice, beat FL twice and played Vandy twice, also beat UConn. I know the AP, Oakland and Charleston games hurt us , however, if they put us in the toruney, I can assure you no team will want to play us (outside of maybe KY)
