BTO, you still wanna go tomorrow anyways? I'm down to at least get a seat with you at the gym if you don't mind. I'm also up for pregaming.

Hall was impressive tonight looked good which isn't easy for a big man to do in the RTL. Was matched up verse chism and had in the neighborhood of 30.

Most impressive though, quinton chievous. I left at halftime of the last game, the one he's playing. Im guessing he had around 15-18 points and 8-10 rebounds in the first half. Nice stroke, had atlesst 3 threes one of which was very deep and he pulled up with ease. His body is strong, and he rebounds and plays VERY physically, easy to see why CCM likes him.

And it's hotter than ever in that gym. They moved the fans to blow on the teams' benches, so there's like no ventilation now.

Reese was a bit underwhelming. He made a decent amount of shots, probably finished with at least 16 points, but he looked a little lost and clumsy.

Melvin Goins was a joy to watch. Really wish he could play under Martin.

Was excited to see T. Smith and JP play against each other, but they didn't show up.

Gotta say Makanjuola looked bigger than 6'7 tonight.

There has been a lot who have said the Quinton wouldn't get off the bench this year. I keep saying though, that everyone will be pleasantly surprised when seeing him out on the court. He can play and he could have played last year.

This would be a wonderful surprise. I assume Chievous will play at the SF.

I think he could have last year as well, but I think red shirting him was the best thing. I think he could end up getting good minutes this year.

The competition at the wing positions is going to be a good one. McRae, Mcbee, Edwards, chievous, and Moore all competing. Chievous looked very good, ad his hustle and physicality will definitely be rewarded by CCM. I can definitely see him getting some good minutes.

On the flip side, josh didn't look improved to me, especially offensively which was the big issue. Maybe Q pushes for Richardsons & Mcbees minutes. I like a 3 man rotation of McRae Edwards and Q, if he plays like he did last night. Then limited minutes for Mcbees or Richardson.

Maybe it just comes off this way, but you seem to disregard McBee out of hand. McBee took over the starter job about mid-season and never gave it back. Granted McRae has more physical ability than McBee but until he plays up to that ability, I expect to see Martin reward McBee's hardwork with good playing time.

I don't know about Edwards, but Chievous seems too big to be chasing SG's around on the perimeter, so him playing beyond most of our expectations shouldn't chip into McBee's playing time either.

I understand that this is just a difference of opinion. I have never understood why people are so down on a local kid but I guess that is what it is. I am going to go on record saying that McBee starts at the SG and holds down that spot the whole season.

Well, I surely hope not. To really be successful, we need Jordan to play like everyone thinks that he can. I've never been a McBee fan. His spot up 3's improved last year, but he can not shoot if moving with the ball. He can not create his own shot, and defensively he is a liability. He may hustle, but I'd rather take the tallent. I think it was more Jordan not living up to CCM expectations and willing to play defense, than McBee holding onto the starting spot and not giving it back.

Well, I was really shocked last year when Q redshirted and Josh got playing time, but I believe it was decided for Q to redshirt before he accepted a scholly here. Anyway, Q was head and shoulders better than Josh last year at this same time. Wasn't even close. I expect Q to have a very good year. Would have been nice to have seen him eat up some of Cam's minutes last year.
