My daughter, wife and I ate at RT on Thursday.. Daughter had bacon cheeseburger and we ate the salad. It was very good, but wait staff is terrible. They only have one waiter/bartender who knows what he is doing and we always ask to sit in his section at lunch. If he is not there, we usually leave. He usually works weekdays at lunch.
My wife and I would eat at the one in Gatlinburg while we were dating. I think there was one at the L&N station and I ate there a few times in the 80s.
Well wait, lets be careful not to assume that this specific store's personnel problem is reflective of every other restaurant. I think that mistake is made quite often (too often). You can have a strong restaurant chain that just has a dude restaurant scattered here and there. However, perfect examples of a restaurant chains that have a cultural problem with their service and have a reputation for bad wait service would be Appleby's and Hooters.

Bartended there in the late 70's in Nashville.. Smoked lots of dope, cracked lots of pretty and ugly woman.. Even meet my wife there, she was a Vandy student coming in with her girl friends. We hit it off she was dateing a Dr student. I Told her I never been to college you need to stick with him he take care of you.
I put this log chain to her and that was it she done moved in.
That was 40 years ago and I still got her!!!
Ruby Tuesdays the good ol days.
The last time I read this log chain story you said you met her while you were bartending at Friday's.
