I got this from an insider Gators forum. Been there for over a year, get a ton of inside information about recruits(They called Powell, Floyd, Easley, etc, very early) as well as a few nuggets pertaining to who's starting, which players are trying certain positions, etc, etc. Like most insiders, they're wrong some times, but they've been right about 75% of the time. For the most part, I trust what I hear over there. With that said, take this with a grain of salt, but this is was recently posted.

For most people with inside information - it's no secret that Urban Meyer is gone after this season. The only question that remains is who will be the Head Coach in 2011.

Rumors say that Chris Petersen has been approached and told to think about taking over as UF coach. I heard this from a friend who works at UF.

Another rumor, this one from TOS, is there are 4 other candidates who will likely be considered for UF Head Coach post and these include: Jon Gruden, Tony Dungy, Bob Stoops and Bill Cowher.

I can't understand why Tony Dungy, Jon Gruden or Bill Cowher would want that job? Not a single good reason. And Bob Stoops would be crazy to leave the sweet deal he has at Oklahoma. Chris Peterson? Maybe. I can see that. These other guys? No way. Total made up crap.

Well the turds need to keep on looking because none of those guys will go there. Gruden will never leave Tampa. Forget Tony Dungy and Bill cowher? Yeah right. Chris Peterson probably wouldn't either. Don't worry turds Steve Addazio will do a fine job.

100% accurate about people in side the organization already know about Urbans departure at end of season.

That is laughable. First, they have Driskel coming in next year, who by all accounts is a better passing Tebow. Secondly, you don't fire a coach because the offensive playcalling sucks. Addazio will go long before Meyer. Thirdly, he won a nat'l title IN THIS RECRUITING CYCLE. You have to give the guy a chance.

You saw what firing an over the hill legend did to our reputation among coaches. We don't know for sure if Meyer is over the hill yet.

The implication isn't that he'll be fired.

I don't know about Tony Dungy or Bill Cowher, but Gruden almost took a job to be Oregon's offensive coordinator a couple seasons back.

Bob Stoops was one of the first people to contact Foley about the UF job after Urban's "retirement" in December.

I like Chris Peterson, but I don't think he's going anywhere.

Where do you get your information? Is this one of those "my cousin knows a guy" things?

There's a ton of coaches who'd take the UF job, these were simply the first people supposedly contacted.

The bold makes my point. And contacted has nothing to do with actually taking the job, which was my original point.

If Gruden went to Florida I'd be pretty pissed... I'd love it if the scientologist took over.
