Yeah, you're the same as any other unreasonable fan who has ridiculous expectations from a team that isn't quite there yet. UK fans come to mind.

I don't disagree with that. We will see what he does. He may do nothing and make a mess of it and get canned. That would make some on this board happy.

I find it funny how the same people that criticize UK fans for their expectations, exhibit similar expectations for their own team who has nowhere near the program history. If every fan were like Hat, we'd be cycling through coaches every 2 years. I'm glad we have some appreciative fans out there.

Which is one more than Bronzer Bruce will ever sniff unless he clues into the fact that winning tournament basketball is about efficiency in the halfcourt on both ends instead of acting like a buffoon on TV with Seth Greenberg and kissing the backsides of clueless rubes in orange overalls.

I have no issues with questioning Bruce's coaching. He's human. He screws up. It's within our right as fans to question him.

The thing I take issue with is that he needs to be replaced.

There is no doubt in my mind we could get a really good hire for two million a year. A lot of good coaches would come here. There are great facilities, and a passionate fan base. Most fans are also extremely content with just making the sweet sixteen. With those kind of standards we could get a ton of people. You are a naive person if you think Pearl is ever going to do anything real special here. The man puts on a good show for the media and the fans and thats about it... we could hire a lot better.

That's an honorable task you are taking on. I agree. The Bruce Pearl love goes too far sometimes. I don't think he's a great coach. But I am happy with him and I would be unhappy if he left.

Why would you be unhappy if a coach leaves that is not a great coach? Why not look at it as an opportunity to hire a better, or great, coach to replace him? That notion totally baffles me.

Well, hell no. But that isn't going to happen. I'm realistic enough to realize that. I honestly don't think we could get someone of the caliber of Pearl if we ousted him. That's why I'd be disappointed if he left.

At Cincy, absolutely.

There is no doubt in my mind he has a title if his horse doesn't break a leg one season.
