Russia brings the fight to ISIS in Syria!!!

The catalyst for me posting this...

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, ISIS leader, threatens West, Israel in first statement in seven months - Washington Times

They won't do a damn thing... at worst probably send a bottle rocket into a mountainside in Israel or attack some more Shiites on The Arabian Peninsula. Or if you do see some staged attack, you'll know it from the onset when they attach an ISIS attack to Assad, like Turkey did.

If they do attack Israel the target would be a Palestinian population center lol. Then Grand would come in to say I told you so.

Nations like Israel and Saudi Arabia have good central intelligence agencies. Failed states like Syria and Libya, and struggling ones like Egypt, not so much. One thing interesting to note is how there have been hardly any suicide bombings in Israel over the past decade or so. Whatever terror attacks you hear about have almost solely been reduced to lone actors going off the rails and stabbing their victims or hitting them with vehicles. Hamas rockets are negligible now too because of Israel's summer 2014 campaign.

Strong central intelligence alone doesn't make for "secure states." You also have to tightly monitor who get in and who doesn't. This is where a nation like France has failed and where a country like the US's visa program needs to be reformed. Perhaps Israel and Saudi Arabia have much tighter strictures on immigration; I would imagine that's highly likely, although the annual hajj would certainly complicate things.

Anyhow, what does any of this matter? If there aren't attacks in Israel or Saudi Arabia, the anti-Semitic "everything is a Jew conspiracy" crowd on here will claim it's a conspiracy because the conspirators aren't being harmed, and if there are attacks, they'll still claim it's a conspiracy to help the conspirators rile up popular sentiments against their enemies. You can't win with this bunch. Pointless to try.

Or another possibility that I heard yesterday is that this now gives Israel the license attack Gaza or Palestinian settlements under the pretext of fighting the Islamic State.

After the last rocket that landed in a field Israel took the opportunity to bomb a Syrian military outpost. They even admitted they didn't know which group fired it.

Yet, another fabrication to continue the ethnic cleansing of Palestine...

The excuses are non stop...

I'll be waiting patiently for several events to happen in 2016...

1. An ISIS attack on Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia or Qatar (instead of the US, France or some other NATO country)
2. The US or NATO forces to attack an ISIS oil convoy going into Turkey
3. A leprechaun riding into the Land of Oz on a unicorn

I wonder which one is most likely to happen?

How about their exploits in Africa? such a strong linkage to NATO there.

ISIS Spreading In Africa? Islamic State Fighters Grew To Thousands In East And West Regions Of The Continent, US Command Says

OH wait let me guess. false flag. because we can't have africa challenging the US hegemony etc etc.

Africa is a continent. It doesn't challenge anything. Ever.

With the exception of Egypt, there is little foreign policy pertaining to African countries that had any bearing on our lives at all. No country on that continent will ever be a challenge to anything we have going on. Obama let the Muslim brotherhood take over in Egypt which of course will have to be dealt with, but not by us. That will be Israels problem, as it is their neighbor, just another example of Obama screwing Israel with his terrible decisions. Fortunately Israel beat the sheet out of Egypt before, along with their Muslim buddies, and Egypt knows that when all the cards are on the table that they want no part of Israel. In the next 5 years our Jewish friends will leave Iran or some other terrorist dominated state a smoking hole in the ground if current trends continue. They will not allow Iran to build nuclear weapons while declaring that the Jewish state should be wiped off of the map. Will make for some interesting TV. Hopefully it's not the spark that sets off ww3.

One of the most under-reported items of the last few weeks is John Kerry and US's capitulation regarding Assad. What exactly did Putin and Lavrov show or tell Kerry that took the bravado out of the US position and made Kerry agree that Assad could stay in power? The Obama administration has spent years convincing us that Assad has to go, and they were able to be flipped after one meeting?

Kerry changes stance on Syria: ‘U.S. not seeking regime change’

Israel hits back after Daesh-affiliated cell fires rockets from Gaza

On Saturday morning, the Israeli Air Force “targeted two Hamas military training facilities and two other military sites,” according to official reports.

This attack was a direct response to five rockets launched from Gaza on Friday, for which Daesh-affiliated terrorist organisation Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis took credit.

The two projectiles which made it to Israel landed in Sha'ar Hanegev in the north-west Negev, outside any populated areas, causing no casualties or damage.

Read the headline, an you get the image in your mind that the Israelis were just minding their own business when Hezbollah came from out of nowhere to attack them...

Hezbollah Claims Responsibility for Bomb Blast Near Israeli Convoy

But then, you begin to read the actual story and find out...

The Lebanese militia and political group Hezbollah said it detonated a bomb Monday near an Israeli military convoy on Israel’s volatile border with Lebanon, an apparent retaliation for the recent death of one of its most prominent operatives.

The blast occurred along a highway in the Shebaa Farms area, a disputed area of land that straddles Lebanon and the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

wasn't Russia supposed to have won by now? Wasn't a real military going to come in and just clean house?why hasn't Russia gotten the job done? They've had a couple months and we aren't in a better situation yet.

Russia wants to solve this problem just as much as we do, which is to say: very little. Instability in Syria distracts the US, distracts the Russian domestic audience, keeps oil prices from falling completely off the cliff, and keeps Russian interests (like no Gulf pipeline) in place. Plus, much like us, they want to wait around for someone else to actually defeat ISIS and other jihadists, while making only token attempts at combating them.

It's been clear for years that Obama is Putin's *****. This comes as no surprise. Reset, reset.
