Russia brings the fight to ISIS in Syria!!!

The US/Israeli JV team is getting whipped by Iran's JV team...

Thus, Israel is having to get its hands dirty...

General of 5th Russian army Valeriy Asapov was killed with his interpreter and 2 colonels in mortar attack on HQ near Deir-Ez-Zur, Syria.

That is some clever editing in that video. First, show an a plane being tracked in the sights, then quickly cut away to video of some plane crashing.

Also, why are we shooting at planes that are bombing the Syrian rebels? The Syrian rebels/moderates = ISIS

tl;dr version moderates =/= ISIS.

you mean the moderates that were fighting both Assad and ISIS until they kicked ISIS out? And the only reason ISIS was able to come back was because Russia started attacking the moderates? Also the same moderates that the Russians were working with, then weren't working with, then were working with again? Those moderates?

The Russian Defense Ministry said late Sunday that Lt. Gen. Valery Asapov “was at a command post of Syrian troops, assisting the Syrian commanders in the operation for the liberation of the city of Deir Ez-Zor.” Russian state news agency Tass reported that Asapov was killed “as a result of a mortar shelling by ISIS.” Russia and Syrian government forces are waging an offensive against ISIS in Deir Ez-Zor province.

And of course they are blaming the United States.

Russian officials blamed Washington’s policies in Syria for Asapov’s death. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said “the death of the Russian commander is the price paid with blood for the hypocrisy of American policy in Syria,” according to Kremlin news agency RIA.

Asapov also served as a commander of Russian forces in Ukraine. I don't know what's going on but another high ranking Russian general was also just killed another fired and discharged from the armed forces. Putin leading a purge?

Seriously? Are you that brainwashed?

We are there illegally? Breaking international law...

Why would we not be blamed?

Seriously? Are you that brainwashed?

uh,

1. its Russia has had plenty of purges
2. they are still commies who all pretty much have a history of similar event
3. Putin has a history of this

not far-fetched at all to wander. personally I don't think its the case here but it is a valid question.

2 Russian Soldiers have been captured in Syria by ISIS.

These aren't Russian regulars....

Let's not act like Russia doesn't have mercenaries fighting in Syria.

https://jamestown.org/program/russian-mercenaries-fight-die-botched-operation-syria/

"ChVK “Vagner” fighters call Syria the “Sandbox” (“Pesochnitsa”). They are paid about $2,500 (150,000 rubles) a month. In today’s economically depressed Russia, this is good pay. Salaries for fighting in Donbas are much lower. The wounded may receive a lump sum of up to $15,000, and the families of mercenaries killed in action could be paid $20,000–50,000 depending on rank and the circumstances of death. No medals, state pensions or special entitlements are ever awarded, however—the Kremlin denies any knowledge of or involvement in ChVK “Vagner’s” activities. The equipment and weapons provided to ChVK “Vagner” fighters in Syria are often of dismal quality. The training of ChVK “Vagner” recruits is undertaken on Russian military bases but is not always adequate. The private military company is reportedly paid some $5,000 per month for each fighter it fields in Syria."

Iranian Major General Abdullah Khosrawi & the Hezbollah commander Ahmed Mohamed Karim were killed by ISIS in Eastern Syria today.

Putin will never get the Nobel Peace Prize he deserves.

seriously? the dude has started multiple wars. he is not getting a peace prize for leveling a country in order to stop another.

i need to go apologize to D4H and armchair, they are clearly not the most delusional people on this forum.

He's defeated the US/Israel regime change business...he's defeated the US/Israel proxy army, ISIS...and he's strengthened Russia's status as a legitimate world player...and gained the respect of those who matter...

That's pretty much all that matters...

yeah about that, ignoring all the falsehoods in that lets move on to the subject at hand.

none of that equals a peace prize. can't use violence to win lasting peace
